Abstract

Vaulteen merupakan non-governmental organization dengan fokus pada pengembangan anak muda di Indonesia dengan partisipasi 450 anak muda. Namun, dengan perkembangan yang signifikan, Vaulteen mengalami permasalahan seperti keterbatasan finansial dan inkonsistensi kerja sehingga diperlukan perancangan strategi bisnis untuk mengatasi permasalahan dan memaksimalkan potensi organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kondisi internal dan eksternal, merancang dan merekomendasikan alternatif strategi bisnis, serta mengidentifikasi rencana aksi. Pada penelitian, perancangan strategi bisnis terbagi menjadi tahap input, tahap pencocokan, dan tahap pengambilan keputusan. Tahap input menggunakan matriks internal factor evaluation dan external factor evaluation, tahap pencocokan menggunakan matriks internal-external yang dilanjutkan dengan matriks threats-opportunities-weaknesses-strengths (TOWS), dan tahap pengambilan keputusan menggunakan quantitative strategic planning matrix (QSPM). Berdasarkan penelitian, didapatkan 15 faktor internal (8 kekuatan dan 7 kelemahan) dengan nilai evaluasi 3.153 serta 12 faktor eksternal (6 peluang dan 6 ancaman) dengan nilai evaluasi 3.113 yang memposisikan organisasi di kuadran I (Grow and Build) pada matriks internal-external dengan rekomendasi strategi pada penetrasi pasar, pengembangan pasar, dan pengembangan produk. Direkomendasikan 9 alternatif strategi meliputi 3 strategi strengths-opportunities, 2 strategi strengths-threats, 2 strategi weaknesses-opportunities, dan 2 strategi weaknesses-threats yang selanjutnya dilakukan pemrioritasan melalui QSPM dengan hasil urutan strategi AS1-AS9-AS5-AS2-AS3-AS6-AS4-AS7-AS8 serta dikembangkan 38 rencana aksi untuk 5 tahun kedepan.

Vaulteen is a non-governmental organization with a focus on youth development in Indonesia with the participation of 450 young people. However, with significant development, Vaulteen is experiencing problems such as financial limitations and work inconsistencies so that it is necessary to design a business strategy to overcome problems and maximise the potential of the organisation. This research aims to identify and analyse the internal and external conditions, design and recommend alternative business strategies, and identify action plans. In the research, business strategy design is divided into input stage, matching stage, and decision-making stage. The input stage uses internal factor evaluation and external factor evaluation matrices, the matching stage uses an internal-external matrix followed by a threats-opportunities-weaknesses-strengths (TOWS) matrix, and the decision-making stage uses a quantitative strategic planning matrix (QSPM). Based on the research, 15 internal factors (8 strengths and 7 weaknesses) with an evaluation score of 3.153 and 12 external factors (6 opportunities and 6 threats) with an evaluation score of 3.113 were obtained, positioning the organisation in quadrant I (Grow and Build) of the internal-external matrix with strategy recommendations on market penetration, market development, and product development. Recommended 9 alternative strategies including 3 strengths-opportunities strategies, 2 strengths-threats strategies, 2 weaknesses-opportunities strategies, and 2 weaknesses-threats strategies which were then prioritised through QSPM with the results of the AS1-AS9-AS5-AS2-AS3-AS6-AS4-AS7-AS8 strategy sequence and developed 38 action plans for the next 5 years.
