Abstract
Penelitian ini dimulai dengan mengidentifikasi potensi besar kreatif di Kota Denpasar yang masih belum memiliki wadah yang memadai. Dalam rangka menjawab tantangan ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan merevitalisasi sebuah bangunan terbengkalai di kawasan Padang Galak Sanur, Bali, menjadi creative hub untuk mendukung para pelaku ekonomi kreatif di Kota Denpasar. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah metode design thinking. Hasil perancangan fokus pada area komunal space dengan keunggulan utama pada implementasi elemen-elemen ruang dari tema cerita mitologi budaya lokal. Desain interior yang diterapkan berusaha menciptakan suasana unik dan khas dari cerita kebudayaan lokal masyarakat Bali bagi para pengguna, sehingga mereka dapat merasa dekat dan nyaman saat menggunakan ruang tersebut. Diharapkan, revitalisasi ini diharapkan dapat menghidupkan kembali kawasan tersebut dan mendorong pertumbuhan berkelanjutan bagi Kota Denpasar serta menjadi salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan ekonomi kreatif kota Denpasar dengan memaksimalkan potensi kearifan lokal di kawasan tersebut.

This research began by identifying the great creative potential in Denpasar City which still does not have an adequate platform. In order to answer this challenge, this research aims to design and revitalize an abandoned building in the Padang Galak Sanur area, Bali, to become a creative hub to support creative economy actors in Denpasar City. The methodology used is the design thinking method. The design results focus on communal space areas with the main advantage being the implementation of spatial elements from local cultural mythological story themes. The interior design implemented tries to create a unique and distinctive atmosphere from local Balinese cultural stories for users, so that they can feel close and comfortable when using the space. It is hoped that this revitalization can revive the area and encourage sustainable growth for the city of Denpasar as well as being one way to improve the creative economy of the city of Denpasar by maximizing the potential of local wisdom in the area.
