Abstract

Sistem prioritisasi kendaraan darurat pada persimpangan lalu lintas adalah solusi untuk mengatasi keterlambatan kendaraan darurat akibat kemacetan. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem prioritisasi berbasis RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) dan fuzzy logic yang mensimulasikan alur lalu lintas normal dan kemudian memberikan prioritas saat terdeteksi kendaraan darurat di persimpangan. RFID digunakan untuk mendeteksi keberadaan kendaraan darurat, sementara fuzzy logic digunakan untuk menentukan tingkatan prioritas kendaraan darurat yang terdeteksi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang diusulkan mampu memberikan prioritas ke persimpangan di mana terdeteksinya kendaraan darurat dengan memberikan sinyal hijau tanpa harus menunggu alur normal, sehingga mengurangi waktu tunggu kendaraan darurat secara signifikan dan meningkatkan respons darurat serta potensi penyelamatan nyawa.

The emergency vehicle prioritization system at traffic intersections is a solution to address the delays of emergency vehicles due to traffic congestion. This research develops a prioritization system based on RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and fuzzy logic that simulates normal traffic flow and then gives priority when an emergency vehicle is detected at the intersection. RFID is used to detect the presence of emergency vehicles, while fuzzy logic is used to determine the prioritization levels of the detected emergency vehicles. The test results show that the proposed system can prioritize intersections where an emergency vehicle is detected by giving a green signal without waiting for the normal flow, significantly reducing the waiting time of emergency vehicles and improving emergency response and potential lifesaving.
