Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia menghadapi tantangan serius akibat kemunduran moralitas bangsa, salah satunya ditandai oleh meningkatnya kasus kekerasan anak di sekolah. Berbagai sumber data menunjukkan jumlah kasus kekerasan yang mengkhawatirkan. Terdapat beberapa faktor penyebab meliputi pengaruh media, kurangnya pemahaman nilai agama, dan pembinaan. Dalam merespon hal ini, pemerintah membentuk program Sekolah Ramah Anak (SRA) dengan tujuan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman, nyaman, serta mendukung perlindungan anak dari kekerasan. Anak Sekolah Dasar (SD) menjadi penting untuk diperhatikan karena anak sedang mengalami perkembangan dalam memahami dan menerapkan perilaku.
SD Khadijah Surabaya menekankan pembentukan karakter islami siswa untuk membentuk SDM yang unggul. Dilakukan pembiasaan nilai-nilai moral dan agama melalui pembiasaan yang didukung oleh fasilitas sekolah. Hasil observasi dan analisis data yang didapatkan melalui survei dan wawancara kepada pihak SD Khadijah memunculkan beberapa kesimpulan. Pertama, stimulasi yang mendukung penanaman nilai moral. Kedua, merancang ruang dengan menanamkan muatan nilai karakter. Ketiga, merancang interior yang mendukung proses pembelajaran. Lingkungan belajar yang positif akan mendukung perkembangan intelektual dan pribadi sehingga menciptakan karakter anak yang unggul.

Education in Indonesia is facing serious challenges due to decline in national morality, one of which is marked by the increasing cases of violences against children in schools. Various sources of data indicate a worrying number of violence cases. There are several contributing factors including media influence, lack of understanding of religious values, and upbringing. In response to this, the goverment has established the Child-Friendly School (SRA) program with the aim of creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive learning environment for children to protect them from violence. Elementary school (SD) children are particularly important to focus on as they are undergoing development in understanding and applying behaviors.
SD Khadijah Surabaya emphasizes the formation of Islamic character in students to develop superior human resources. Moral and religious values are instilled through habitual practices supported by school facilities. Observations and data analysis obtained through surveys and interviews with SD Khadijah stakeholders have led to several conclusions. First, providing supportive stimulation for instilling moral values. Second, designing spaces infused with character values. Third, designing interiors that support the learning process. A positive learning environment will support intellectual and personal development, thus creating superior character in children.
