Abstract

Train Monitoring System (TMS) adalah suatu sistem kontrol terpusat untuk peralatan dan fasilitas kereta yang dapat dimonitor secara online dan real time. Train Monitoring System memiliki peran penting untuk memantau kinerja subsistem dalam sebuah kereta. Subsistem yang dipantau yaitu Door Control Unit (DCU), Lighting Control Unit (LCU), Toilet Control Module (TCM), dan lain sebagainya. Penelitian terus dilakukan guna meningkatkan performa dari TMS. Pada penelitian ini akan dipelajari sistem kerja dari TMS untuk pemantauan subsistem kontrol dalam kereta. Kereta yang digunakan untuk pengaplikasian TMS yaitu pada Kereta 612 ARGO LAWU. Kinerja sistem kendali TMS disimulasikan pada program yang dibuat dengan bahasa pemrograman Structure Text, Function Block Diagram dan Ladder Diagram menggunakan CODESYS. Hasil simulasi diharapkan menunjukkan kinerja atau performansi yang baik dari sistem TMS.

Train Monitoring System (TMS) is a centralized control system for train equipment and facilities that can be monitored online and in real time. The Train Monitoring System has an important role in monitoring the performance of subsystems in a train. The subsystems monitored are the Door Control Unit (DCU), Lighting Control Unit (LCU), Toilet Control Module (TCM), and so on. Research continues to be carried out to improve the performance of TMS. In this research, the working system of TMS for monitoring control subsystems in trains will be studied. The train used for the TMS application is Train 612 ARGO LAWU. The performance of the TMS control system is simulated in a program created with the Function Block Diagram programming language using CODESYS. The simulation results are expected to show good performance or performance of the TMS system.
