Abstract
Boiler CFB (Circulating Fluidized Bed) adalah jenis boiler yang menggunakan teknologi perapian bergerak yang melibatkan campuran padatan partikel (biasanya batubara) dan gas pembakaran dalam kondisi fluidized bed. Pada boiler terdapat nozzle Primary Air Fan yang di mana merupakan komponen kritis yang memiliki peran utama pada boiler yang berguna untuk mengalirkan uap panas ke dalam ruang pembakaran. Dalam menanggapi permasalahan kerusakan nozzle Primary Air Fan di PLTU Kupang. Penelitian ini menggunakan material ZGCr28, SS 310 dan ASTM A297 Grade HK yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil sifat mekanik material tersebut. Selanjutnya untuk mengetahui sifat mekanik material tersebut dilakukan beberapa pengujian, yaitu metalografi, pengujian tarik dan kekerasan. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut didapatkan hasil metalografi dengan batas butir paling kecil/halus dengan rata-rata batas butir 124 〖μm〗^2 terdapat pada material ZGCr28. Selanjutnya hasil pengujian tarik didapatkan nilai yang paling tinggi terdapat pada material SS 310 dengan kekuatan tarik 525.73 MPa dan nilai kekuatan luluh terbesar diperoleh material ASTM A 297 Grade HK sebesar 277.87 MPa. Kandungan kromium yang lebih tinggi dan batas butir yang halus membuat nilai kekerasan material ZGCr28 lebih tinggi dibanding material alternatif dengan nilai rata-rata 93.3 HRB. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa material alternatif tidak dapat mengganti material acuan sehingga perlu adanya penelitian selanjutnya.

The CFB (Circulating Fluidized Bed) boiler is a type of boiler that utilizes a moving bed combustion technology involving a mixture of solid particles (usually coal) and combustion gas in a fluidized bed condition. In the boiler, there is a Primary Air Fan nozzle, which is a critical component with the main role of directing hot steam into the combustion chamber. This addresses the issue of damage to the Primary Air Fan nozzle at the Kupang power plant. This research utilizes materials ZGCr28, SS 310, and ASTM A297 Grade HK with the aim of determining the mechanical properties of these materials. To further understand the mechanical properties, several tests were conducted, including metallography, tensile testing, and hardness testing. From the results of this research, it was found that the material ZGCr28 exhibited the finest grain boundaries with an average grain boundary size of 124 μm². The highest tensile strength was obtained from the material SS 310, with a tensile strength of 525.73 MPa, while the greatest yield strength was achieved by the ASTM A297 Grade HK material at 277.87 MPa. The higher chromium content and finer grain boundaries resulted in the ZGCr28 material having a higher hardness value compared to the alternative materials, with an average hardness of 93.3 HRB. This demonstrates that the alternative materials cannot replace the reference material, indicating the need for further research.
