Abstract
Indonesia memiliki kekayaan sumber daya alam yang melimpah, baik hayati maupun non-hayati. Keanekaragaman tanah yang subur memungkinkan pertumbuhan berbagai jenis tanaman, yang berkontribusi besar pada sektor pertanian. Pertanian di Indonesia terbagi menjadi lahan sawah (wetland) dan lahan non-sawah (dryland), dengan lahan non-sawah mendominasi luas lahan pertanian. Namun dari kedua jenis tersbut, lahan kering menawarkan peluang besar dalam pertanian. Penggunaan alat dan mesin pertanian (alsintan) sangat penting untuk mencapai kedaulatan pangan, meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani, dan memperkuat daya saing usaha pertanian. Pengembangan alsintan menjadi kebijakan strategis pemerintah, dengan program bantuan alsintan berperan signifikan dalam intervensi langsung pemerintah. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat berbagai kendala dalam implementasi bantuan alsintan, seperti kesulitan mendapatkan bahan bakar dan alat yang tidak berfungsi dengan baik, yang menyebabkan biaya penggunaan yang tinggi dan hasil yang tidak memadai. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkannya suatu alsintan berupa gerobak yang tanpa menggunakan bahan bakar dan minim terhadap kebutuhan maintenance yang tinggi.

Indonesia has abundant natural resources, both biotic and abiotic. The diversity of fertile soils allows the growth of various types of plants, contributing significantly to the agricultural sector. Agriculture in Indonesia is divided into wetland and dryland areas, with dryland areas dominating the agricultural landscape. However, dryland offers great opportunities for agriculture. The use of agricultural tools and machinery (alsintan) is crucial to achieving food sovereignty, improving farmers' welfare, and strengthening the competitiveness of agricultural businesses. The development of alsintan is a strategic government policy, with alsintan assistance programs playing a significant role in direct government intervention. Nevertheless, there are still various challenges in implementing alsintan assistance, such as difficulties in obtaining fuel and malfunctioning equipment, leading to high usage costs and inadequate results. Therefore, there is a need for an alsintan in the form of a cart that does not use fuel and requires minimal maintenance.
