Abstract

Literasi sampah menjadi hal yang penting saat ini karena tingkat kesadaran orang yang melakukan pemilahan saat ini hanyalah sebesar 20%. Hal ini merupakan salah satu alasan sulitnya pengelolaan sampah di Indonesia sehingga perlu adanya penguatan literasi sampah yang lebih komprehensif terkait pengelolaan sampah. Akan tetapi permasalahannya belum ada bangunan yang difungsikan secara komprehensif menjadi wadah untuk masyarakat dalam mempelajari literasi sampah secara menyenangkan. Oleh karena itu arsitektur mencoba hadir dalam bentuk fasilitas eduwisata berupa theme park dengan tema terkait sampah yang tentunya harus menyenangkan dan terdapat praktek simulasi secara langsung. Fasilitas ini harus bisa memikat banyak pengunjung untuk masuk kedalamnya melalui tampilan bangunan yang atraktif lewat teori iconic building dan narrative architecture yang digunakan. Walaupun mungkin tujuan utama mereka datang ke tempat ini karena tertarik dengan bangunannya, tapi tentunya mereka akan tetap mendapatkan literatur sampah secara tidak langsung apabila sudah memasukinya. Hal ini disebabkan karena penerapan teori iconic building dan narrative architecture berperan dalam penghadiran memorable memories pada pengunjungnya. Sehingga harapannya informasi yang disampaikan akan lebih tertanam di benak dan membekas. Terkait teori sustainable architecture berperan sebagai payung besar sekaligus pembatas yang memayungi kedua teori lainnya agar rancangan yang dihasilkan mempertimbangkan aspek lingkungan, ekonomi, dan sosial.

Waste literacy is currently important because the level of awareness of people who sort it is currently only 20%. This is one of the reasons why waste management is difficult in Indonesia, so there is a need to strengthen more comprehensive waste literacy related to waste management. However, the problem is that there are no buildings that can function comprehensively as a forum for the community to learn waste literacy in a fun way. Therefore, architecture tries to be present in the form of educational tourism facilities in the form of theme parks with themes related to waste which of course must be fun and include direct simulation practice. This facility must be able to attract many visitors to enter through the attractive appearance of the building through the iconic building theory and narrative architecture used. Even though their main purpose in coming to this place may be because they are interested in the building, of course they will still get waste literature indirectly when they enter. This is because the application of iconic building theory and narrative architecture plays a role in providing memorable memories to visitors. So it is hoped that the information conveyed will be more deeply embedded in the mind and make an impression. Regarding the theory of sustainable architecture, it acts as a big umbrella and barrier that covers the other two theories so that the resulting design takes into account environmental, economic and social aspects.
