Abstract
Beton adalah bahan konstruksi yang paling banyak digunakan karena berbagai aplikasinya, dengan konsumsi global saat ini mencapai sekitar 15 miliar ton. Salah satu cara mengatasi limbah fly ash adalah dengan mengurangi proporsi semen dalam campuran. Penggunaan beton siap pakai dengan campuran fly ash seringkali menyebabkan retak, bahkan sebelum dibebani meskipun mutu beton memenuhi standar. Penyusutan sering digunakan untuk mengukur stabilitas volume beton, yang dipengaruhi oleh perubahan kelembaban, reaksi kimia, dan penurunan suhu. Penggunaan fly ash menurunkan kekuatan awal beton, namun kekuatan meningkat dalam jangka panjang karena reaksi pozzolanik. Penelitian ini membandingkan tiga variasi kadar fly ash 40%, 50%, 60% dan beton normal dengan penambahan superplasticizer sebesar 1% dari berat binder. Pengujian kuat tekan beton dilakukan mengacu pada SNI 1974 dengan sampel silinder berukuran 100 x 200 mm pada 7, 14, 28, 56 hari. Pengujian Driying Shrinkage berdasarkan ASTM C 157 dilakukan pada sampel balok berukuran 7,5 x 7,5 x 28,5 cm pada hari ke-4, 7, 14, 21, dan 28. Variasi without superplasticizer (WS) adalah beton yang tidak memakai superplasticizer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi kadar fly ash, semakin rendah kuat tekan beton. Kuat tekan untuk fly ash 40%, 50%, 60%, dan beton normal adalah 51,68 MPa, 41,8 MPa, 37,21 MPa, dan 29,7 MPa. Penggantian fly ash menurunkan penyusutan pengeringan dibandingkan beton biasa. Penyusutan pada kadar fly ash 40%, 50%, 60% masing-masing mencapai 0,071%, 0,0593%, 0,0261% dalam 4 hari pertama, dan 0,1004%, 0,0807%, 0,0772% pada hari ke-28. Peningkatan persentase fly ash secara signifikan mengurangi penyusutan, dengan FA60 memiliki nilai penyusutan terendah di antara semua sampel

Concrete is the most widely used construction material due to its wide range of applications, with global consumption currently reaching around 15 billion tons. One way to overcome fly ash waste is to reduce the proportion of cement in the mixture. The use of ready-mix concrete with a mixture of fly ash often causes cracks, even before being loaded even though the concrete quality meets the standards. Shrinkage is often used to measure the volume stability of concrete, which is affected by changes in humidity, chemical reactions, and temperature drops. The use of fly ash reduces the early strength of concrete, but the strength increases in the long term due to pozzolanic reactions. This study compared three variations of fly ash content of 40%, 50%, 60% and normal concrete with the addition of superplasticizer of 1% of the binder weight. Concrete compressive strength testing was carried out referring to SNI 1974 with cylindrical samples measuring 100 x 200 mm at 7, 14, 28, 56 days. Drying Shrinkage testing based on ASTM C 157 was conducted on block samples measuring 7.5 x 7.5 x 28.5 cm on days 4, 7, 14, 21, and 28. Variation without superplasticizer (WS) is concrete that does not use superplasticizer. The results showed that the higher the fly ash content, the lower the compressive strength of the concrete. The compressive strength for fly ash 40%, 50%, 60%, and normal concrete is 51.68 MPa, 41.8 MPa, 37.21 MPa, and 29.7 MPa. Replacement of fly ash reduces drying shrinkage compared to regular concrete. Shrinkage at fly ash content of 40%, 50%, 60% reached 0.071%, 0.0593%, 0.0261% respectively in the first 4 days, and 0.1004%, 0.0807%, 0.0772% on the 28th day. Increasing the percentage of fly ash significantly reduced shrinkage, with FA60 having the lowest shrinkage value among all samples
