Abstract

Kemunculan Mata Air Panas Sawahmulya di Pulau Bawean menunjukkan adanya manifestasi panas bumi di daerah vulkanik busur belakang Muria-Bawean. Struktur geologi regional yang berkembang mulai Paleogen di Laut Jawa bagian Timur, diperkirakan menjadi faktor kemunculan manifestasi tersebut. Untuk mengidentifikasi struktur bawah permukaan yang mengontrol keterbentukan Mata Air Panas Sawahmulya, digunakan metode magnetik untuk dapat menggambarkan anomali bawah permukaan sebagai jalur fluida panas. Akuisisi data magnetik dilakukan dengan 86 titik pengukuran rover dengan 1 titik base. Hasil pengolahan data magnetik menunjukkan Mata Air Panas Sawahmulya berada pada nilai anomali magnetik rendah yang mengindikasikan adanya aliran panas di bawah permukaan. Pola anomali magnetik residual dan tilt derivative magnetik, menunjukkan keberadaan struktur yang diperkirakan dengan orientasi Timurlaut-Baratdaya dan Baratlaut-Tenggara. Orientasi struktur tersebut didukung dengan analisis kelurusan di lokasi penelitian yang menunjukkan orientasi dominan Timurlaut-Baratdaya serta keberadaan kelurusan dengan orientasi Baratlaut�Tenggara di dekat mata air panas. Struktur Timurlaut-Baratdaya diperkirakan sebagai sistem struktur dalam yang memiliki orientasi sama dengan struktur Pola Meratus. Sedangkan struktur Baratlaut�Tenggara diperkirakan sebagai sistem struktur yang lebih dangkal dan turut mengontrol keluarnya Mata Air Panas Sawahmulya. Sementara itu, karakteristik Mata Air Panas Sawahmulya dianalisis berdasarkan diagram piper, diagram ternary Cl-HCO3-SO4 dan K-Na-Mg. Karakteristik mata air menunjukkan fasies Ca-Mg-HCO3 yang berada pada zona immature water dan peripheral water dengan nilai total dissolved solid yang tinggi. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kemunculan Mata Air Panas Sawahmulya diakibatkan oleh sistem struktur dengan karakteristik yang dipengaruhi oleh interaksi air dengan batuan dasar dan percampuran air meteorik sebelum keluar ke permukaan.

The appearance of the Sawahmulya Hot Springs on Bawean Island indicates the existence of geothermal manifestations in the area of the Muria-Bawean Back Arc Volcanism. The regional structure that developed in the Eastern Java Sea is thought to be a factor in the emergence of this manifestation. To identify the subsurface structures that control the formation of the Sawahmulya Hot Springs, magnetic methods are used to describe subsurface anomalies as hot fluid pathways. Magnetic data acquisition was carried out with 86 rover measurement points with 1 base point. The results of magnetic data processing show that the Sawahmulya Hot Springs are at a low magnetic anomaly value which indicates the presence of heat flow beneath the surface. The pattern of residual magnetic anomaly and tilt derivative indicate a suspected structure with a Northeast-Southwest and Northwest-Southeast orientation. The orientation of this structure is supported by lineament analysis which shows a dominant Northeast-Southwest orientation and the existence of a lineament with a Northwest-Southeast orientation near the hot springs. The Northeast-Southwest structure is thought to be a deep structural system that has the same orientation as the Meratus Pattern structure. Meanwhile, the northwest�southeast structure is thought to be a shallower structural system and also controls the appearance of the Sawahmulya Hot Springs. Meanwhile, the characteristics of the Sawahmulya Hot Springs were analyzed based on piper diagrams, Cl-HCO3-SO4 and K-Na-Mg ternary diagrams. The characteristics of hot springs have the Ca-Mg-HCO3 facies which is in the immature water and peripheral water with high total dissolved solid values. These conditions indicate that the emergence of the Sawahmulya Hot Springs is caused by a structural system with characteristics that are influenced by the interaction of water with bedrock and the mixing of meteoric water before it comes to the surface.
