Abstract
Bendungan Leuwikeris didesain untuk memiliki usia guna hingga 50 tahun sebelum tampungan mati terpenuhi oleh sedimen. Namun, tantangan besar berupa sedimentasi dapat mengurangi kapasitas tampungan dan usia guna waduk. Sedimentasi ini disebabkan oleh erosi akibat perubahan tata guna lahan yang dipicu oleh pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kepadatan penduduk. Analisis sedimentasi sangat penting karena erosi yang tinggi dapat menyebabkan akumulasi sedimen di dasar bendungan, mengurangi volume tampungan efektif. Metode Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) digunakan untuk menghitung tingkat sedimentasi akibat erosi dengan mempertimbangkan intensitas hujan, jenis tanah, topografi, vegetasi, dan praktik pengelolaan lahan. Penggunaan software SSIIM 2 memberikan pemodelan lebih detail mengenai distribusi dan dinamika sedimen dalam waduk. Penelitian ini bertujuan memprediksi sedimentasi pada Bendungan Leuwikeris menggunakan metode USLE dan software SSIIM 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan perhitungan USLE, volume laju sedimentasi sebesar 625.143,77 m³/tahun, sehingga usia guna waduk adalah 58 tahun. Pemodelan SSIIM 2 menunjukkan sedimentasi selama 5 tahun terjadi pada inlet, dengan pola menyebar dari bulan 1 hingga bulan 12, dan rata-rata volume sedimentasi tahunan sebesar 4.156.969,00 m³. he Leuwikeris Dam is designed to have a useful life of up to 50 years before the reservoir is filled with sediment. However, the big challenge in the form of sedimentation can reduce the storage capacity and useful life of the reservoir. This sedimentation is caused by erosion due to changes in land use triggered by economic growth and population density. Sedimentation analysis is very important because high erosion can cause sediment accumulation at the base of the dam, reducing the effective storage volume. The Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) method is used to calculate the level of sedimentation due to erosion by considering rain intensity, soil type, topography, vegetation and land management practices. The use of SSIIM 2 software provides more detailed modeling regarding the distribution and dynamics of sediment in the reservoir. This research aims to predict sedimentation in the Leuwikeris Dam using the USLE method and SSIIM 2 software. The research results show that based on USLE calculations, the sedimentation rate volume is 625,143.77 m³/year, so the useful life of the reservoir is 58 years. SSIIM 2 modeling shows that 5 years of sedimentation occurred at the inlet, with a spread pattern from month 1 to month 12, and the average annual sedimentation volume was 4,156,969.00 m³.
