Abstract

Perkembangan budaya global dan semakin majunya teknologi memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap eksistensi budaya tradisional yang terdapat dimasyarakat. Masuknya budaya global di kalangan masyarakat, membuat budaya dan tradisi lokal mulai perlahan hilang dan ditinggalkan. Arsitektur sebagai disiplin ilmu harus dapat melihat bahwa budaya tradisional merupakan sebuah konteks perancangan yang sangat potensial untuk diimplementasikan dalam sebuah rancangan. Kota Ponorogo sebagai salah satu kota dengan potensi budaya dan tradisinya yang kental, belum dapat melestarikan budaya lokalnya dengan memperkenalkannya kepada generasi-generasi masyarakat yang baru. Untuk mewujudkan konsep arsitektur sebagai katalis sosial budaya, Hub Komunitas hadir menjadi sebuah solusi rancang. Sebagai pendukung solusi tersebut, teori arsitektur ephemeral context menjadi landasan perancangan. Rancangan menjawab kriteria desain dalam mewujudkan aspek sosial budaya dengan penyelesaian yang dilakukan melalui aspek desain dari elemen ephemeral berupa space, light, movement, scale. Pendekatan naratif dipakai menjadi alat menarasikan konteks budaya. Narasi ini diimplementasikan pada elemen ephemeral bangunan, menghasilkan sebuah Perancangan Hub Komunitas yang tidak hanya memenuhi kebutuhan ruang interaksi sosial masyarakat, tetapi juga dapat melestarikan kebudayaan yang ada dengan identitas setempat yang kuat.

The development of global culture and the advancement of technology have significantly impacted the existence of traditional cultures within society. The introduction of global culture among communities has led to the gradual disappearance and abandonment of local cultures and traditions. Architecture, as a discipline, must recognize that traditional culture is a highly potential design context that can be implemented in design projects. Ponorogo City, as one of the cities with strong cultural and traditional potential, has not yet been able to preserve its local culture by introducing it to the new generation of society. To realize the concept of architecture as a socio-cultural catalyst, the Community Hub emerges as a design solution. Supporting this solution, the theory of ephemeral context architecture serves as the design foundation. The design addresses the design criteria in realizing socio-cultural aspects by resolving design aspects from ephemeral elements such as space, light, movement, and scale. A narrative approach is used as a tool to narrate the cultural context. This narrative is implemented in the building's ephemeral elements, resulting in a Community Hub design that not only fulfills the need for social interaction spaces but also preserves existing culture with a strong local identity.
