Abstract

Analisis ini juga mengidentifikasi bahwa Model Kano lebih efektif daripada IPA dalam mengidentifikasi indikator yang perlu ditingkatkan untuk meningkatkan kinerja petani kopi di Jawa Timur.===============================================================================================Indonesia is one of the largest coffee producers in the world, and the coffee industry in this country has experienced significant growth, contributing 16.15% to the national GDP. East Java is the province with the most smallholder coffee plantations in Indonesia. However, East Java still faces challenges in improving its supply chain performance. The low performance of the coffee supply chain in East Java is a major obstacle that needs to be addressed to support the national coffee industry. This study aims to identify and analyze the key factors that need to be improved in the performance of coffee farmers in East Java. In this study, the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method and the KANO model are used to analyze the satisfaction of supply chain actors with the performance dimensions of the coffee supply chain and to assess how well the performance meets the expectations of these actors. The output of this research aids in formulating appropriate strategies to address these issues. The results of the study indicate that there is variation in primary and supporting activities among coffee supply chain actors in East Java, identifying that farmers are the supply chain actors who need to improve their supply chain performance in 11 performance indicators. This analysis also identifies that the KANO Model is more effective than IPA in identifying indicators that need improvement to enhance the performance of coffee farmers in East Java
