Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan strategi pengembangan wisata Pantai Kuta Mandalika melalui analisis karakteristik pengunjung dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi jumlah kunjungan. Dengan pendekatan campuran (mixed methods), penelitian ini menggabungkan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data. Data pengunjung dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan regresi linear berganda, sementara analisis kualitatif dilakukan melalui studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengunjung didominasi oleh perempuan dan kelompok usia 17-25 tahun dengan pendidikan perguruan tinggi. Frekuensi kunjungan tinggi, terutama pada akhir pekan, dengan mayoritas pengunjung menggunakan sepeda motor dan berasal dari dalam negeri. Analisis regresi mengungkapkan biaya perjalanan dan pendidikan memiliki hubungan negatif signifikan dengan frekuensi kunjungan, sementara hari kunjungan memiliki hubungan positif signifikan. Berdasarkan temuan ini, strategi peningkatan kunjungan meliputi promosi efektif, pengembangan pengalaman pengunjung, edukasi dan konservasi, serta perbaikan fasilitas dan infrastruktur. Implementasi strategi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan jumlah dan durasi kunjungan, serta memperkuat daya tarik wisata Pantai Kuta Mandalika.

This study aims to formulate development strategies for Kuta Mandalika Beach tourism by analyzing visitor characteristics and factors influencing the number of visits. Using a mixed-methods approach, this research combines qualitative and quantitative methods to collect and analyze data. Visitor data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis and multiple linear regression, while qualitative analysis was conducted through literature review. The results indicate that visitors are predominantly female and within the age group of 17-25 years with higher education. The frequency of visits is high, especially on weekends, with the majority of visitors using motorcycles and originating from within the country. Regression analysis revealed that travel costs and education have a significant negative relationship with the frequency of visits, while the day of visit has a significant positive relationship. Based on these findings, strategies to increase visits include effective promotion, enhancing visitor experiences, education and conservation, and improving facilities and infrastructure. Implementing these strategies is expected to increase the number and duration of visits, as well as strengthen the tourism appeal of Kuta Mandalika Beach.
