Abstract

Indonesia is a maritime country, which means it has seas that are wider than its land. This makes Indonesia very rich in marine potential, one of which is in the fisheries sector. The potential for large fish catches and high economic value means there are many fishing vessels in Indonesia. The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries stated that by July 2022 there would be 572,000 fishing vessels. This number has a high level of exhaust emissions from oil-fueled vehicles. Tomini Bay is one of the potential fisheries centers in Indonesia and is famous for its tuna and skipjack tuna, but fishing vessels in the area are not adequate and produce a lot of fuel waste. With the aim of supporting the utilization of fisheries potential and reducing the amount of use and reducing emissions fuel. The result of this final project is a with a ship that can accommodate approximately 150 tons of fish, with the main ship size being L: 30.1 m; B: 8.6m; H: 4m; T: 2.8; Vs: 10 Knots with a shipping route from the fishing port of Gorontalo Tent to Tomini Bay. The ship uses a hybrid production system, namely a combination of electric motor and diesel engine with a power source from hydrogen gas (Fuel Cell) which is directly produced on-board from sea water
