Abstract

Diabetes adalah penyakit kronis yang ditandai dengan tingginya kadar gula darah yang melebihi batas normal. Menurut data dari Sample Registration Survey 2014 yang dikeluarkan oleh Kemeterian Kesehatan, diabetes merupakan penyebab kematian terbesar ketiga di Indonesia dengan persentase sekitar 6,7%. Penyakit ini hanya berada di bawah penyakit lain seperti stroke dengan 21,1% dan penyakit jantung coroner 12,9%. Dalam manajemen diabetes, pemantauan teratur terhadap kadar gula darah yang didukung oleh Teknologi Informasi sangat krusial. Aplikasi android “E-Medib” merupakan aplikasi android yang bertujuan pada manajemen diabetes, pemantauan gula darah, pelacakan kalori, dan informasi kesehatan lain. Hal ini tetapi tidak menjamin efektivitas penanganan penyakit diabetes melitus, tetapi memberikan landasan penting untuk asesmen kesehatan pasien. Asesmen kesehatan pada pasien diabetes memiliki peran sentral dalam memahami kondisi pasien secara menyeluruh dan memastikan perawatan yang pribadi dan efisien. Salah satu dari metode asesmen kesehatan tersebut adalah Diabetes Self- Management Questionnaire (DSMQ) dimana metode tersebut fokus terhadap aspek perilaku pada pasien yang dapat mempengaruhi kondisi penyakitnya. Pada penelitian ini, dikembangan sistem asesmen kesehatan yang komprehensif pada aplikasi android “E-Medib”. MySQL, Kotlin, Laravel, dan PHP dimanfaatkan dengan tujuan untuk menggunakan data dari fitur pelacakan aplikasi untuk mengembangkan modul asesmen kesehatan yang canggih. Modul ini akan mencakup sebuah visual dashboard yang didukung oleh library berbasis android dan infrastruktur teknologi yang sudah ada untuk memberikan wawasan secara visual terhadap pasien. Fitur kuesioner DSMQ telah teimplementasi dengan lancar pada aplikasi “E-Medib”. Selain itu, hasil pengujian user acceptance testing menggunuakan System Usability Scale (SUS) menunjukkan skor rata-rata sebesar 80, yang menandakan aplikasi ini memiliki kelakayan penggunaan dalam kategori “good” berdasarkan klasifikasi skor. Dalam rangka pengembangan kedepannya, integrasi sebuah chatbot dapat menjadi fitur yang menjanjikan

Diabetes is a chronic disease characterized by high blood sugar levels that exceed normal limits. According to data from the 2014 Sample Registration Survey released by the Ministry of Health, diabetes is the third largest cause of death in Indonesia with a percentage of around 6.7%. This disease is only below other diseases such as stroke with 21.1% and coronary heart disease with 12.9%. In diabetes management, regular monitoring of blood sugar levels supported by Information Technology is very crucial. The android application "E-Medib" is an android application that aims at diabetes management, blood sugar monitoring, calorie tracking, and other health information. This does not guarantee the effectiveness of treating diabetes mellitus, but provides an important basis for assessing the patient's health. Health assessment of diabetes patients has a central role in understanding the patient's condition as a whole and ensuring personalized and efficient care. One of these health assessment methods is the Diabetes Self-Management Questionnaire (DSMQ) where this method focuses on aspects of patient behavior that can influence their disease condition. In this research, a comprehensive health assessment system was developed on the Android application "E-Medib". MySQL, Kotlin, Laravel, and PHP were leveraged with the aim of using data from the application tracking feature to develop a sophisticated health assessment module. This module will include a visual dashboard supported by an Android-based library and existing technology infrastructure to provide visual insight into patients. The DSMQ questionnaire feature has been implemented smoothly in the "E-Medib" application. Apart from that, the results of user acceptance testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) show an average score of 80, which indicates that this application has suitability for use in the "good" category based on the score classification.
