Abstract
Dalam studi kasus penelitian Tugas Akhir ini berfokus pada permasalahan yang dialami
salah satu apotek dan praktik dokter mandiri berlokasi daerah Tandes, Surabaya. dalam
pencucian alat-alat laboratorium dan kesehatan mereka harus membeli air aquades yang
membutuhkan banyak biaya, disisi lain kualitas air PDAM yang disalurkan ke daerah tersebut
secara kasat mata sangat keruh ditambah pihak Apotek tidak memiliki mesin pengolah air
sehingga tidak bisa memproduksi sendiri aquades yang memenuhi standar Permenkes RI
2017. oleh karenanya penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan sistem monitoring mesin
filtrasi air yang menggabungkan sistem pretreatment filter dengan membrane reverse osmosis
(RO), serta pemasangan sensor analog untuk memantau pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS),
dan kekeruhan (Turbidity) sebelum dan setelah proses penyaringan. Hasil validasi
menunjukkan tingkat keakuratan sensor yang tinggi, dengan perbandingan sebelum dan
setelah integrasi sistem mencapai 99,94% menjadi 99,77% untuk TDS, 99,95% menjadi
98,10% untuk pH, dan 99,94% menjadi 99,97% untuk kekeruhan. Rasio komposisi
pretreatment filter yang paling optimal, yaitu komposisi V dengan nilai rata-rata 88,9625%,
juga berhasil ditemukan.

This Final Project study focuses on the issues faced by a pHarmacy and private doctor's
practice located in the Tandes area of Surabaya. They encounter challenges in washing
laboratory and healthcare equipment, necessitating the costly purchase of Aquades water.
Additionally, the visibly turbid quality of the local PDAM water supply further complicates
matters, exacerbated by the pHarmacy's lack of water processing machinery to produce
Aquades meeting the standards set by the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 2017.
Therefore, this research centers on developing a monitoring system for water filtration
machines integrating pretreatment filters with reverse osmosis (RO) membranes, and
installing analog sensors to monitor pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and Turbidity before
and after the filtration process. Validation results indicate high sensor accuracy, with
improvements observed post-system integration: TDS accuracy increased from 99.94% to
99.77%, pH from 99.95% to 98.10%, and Turbidity from 99.94% to 99.97%. The most
optimal pretreatment filter composition, Composition IV, averaging 95.21%, was identified.
