Abstract

Generally, humans rely on sight as the primary sense when interacting with buildings. However, this dependence on visual input can diminish the depth of interaction, experience, and sensory perception when experiencing a space. In this context, the design concept explores how architecture can be experienced without relying on sight. The presence of individuals with visual impairments, such as those who are blind or visually impaired, focuses the design on facilitating travel experiences for them and others facing similar limitations.
Moreover, integrating sensory elements offers a new perspective on the beauty, function, and meaning of architecture, making it easier for users to understand space and existence holistically. This approach addresses existing limitations and deepens the connection between the body, perception, and space. In this way, architecture can bridge the visible and invisible aspects, creating an inclusive tourism experience that can be enjoyed by all.
