Abstract
Repair projects often have high accident rates, but the public is generally unaware of
this issue. This has led to a normalization of workplace accidents in hazardous industries,
including maritime operations. One of the sub-activity in SPM repair is Buoy-Body repair.
SPM 125.000 DWT is a crucial asset for PT. Pertamina that requires major replacement and
repairs. The process of repairing buoy-body the single point mooring involves activities with
significant safety risks. To identify potential accidents, their causes, impacts, and prevention
strategies, a hazard analysis was conducted using the Job Safety Analysis method on the
single point mooring buoy-body repair project. The analysis revealed four extremely high
risk potential outcomes: Dust hazard while sandblasting, high pressure of sandblasting,
fire&sparks while welding, and fire&sparks while cutting plate process. If described down
into emergency-risk jobs as many as 4 potential hazard (9,3%), high-risk jobs as many as 5
potential hazard (11,63%), medium-risk jobs as many as 27 potential hazard (62,8%), and
low-risk jobs as many as 7 potential hazard (16,28%). Based on this data, the highest
potential risk is in the sandblasting and hotwork processes. This is due to the welding and
cutting process that uses tools that can be dangerous. In addition, work sites that are in
limited spaces are also dangerous. Silica dust from the sand blasting process that covers the
entire buoy-body can also pose a potential hazard. Several recommendations can be made.
These recommendations covers into five categories: elimination, substitution, engineering
controls, administrative controls, and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Proyek perbaikan sering memiliki tingkat kecelakaan yang tinggi, tetapi masyarakat
umumnya tidak menyadari masalah ini. Hal ini menyebabkan normalisasi kecelakaan kerja
di industri berbahaya, termasuk operasi maritim. Salah satu sub kegiatan dalam perbaikan
SPM adalah perbaikan Buoy-Body. SPM 125.000 DWT merupakan aset krusial bagi PT.
Pertamina yang membutuhkan penggantian dan perbaikan besar. Proses perbaikan badan
Jika diuraikan menjadi
pekerjaan berisiko darurat sebanyak 4 potensi bahaya (9,3%), pekerjaan berisiko tinggi
sebanyak 5 potensi bahaya (11,63%), pekerjaan berisiko menengah sebanyak 27 potensi
menimbulkan potensi bahaya. Beberapa rekomendasi dapat dibuat. Rekomendasi ini
mencakup lima kategori: eliminasi, substitusi, kontrol teknik, kontrol administratif, dan
penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD). Beberapa rekomendasi dapat dibuat. Rekomendasi
ini mencakup lima kategori: eliminasi, substitusi, pengendalian teknis, pengendalian
administratif, dan penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD).
