Abstract

Fenomena terjadinya segregasi spasial di BSD mencerminkan ketidaksetaraan sosial yang ditandai dengan pemisahan fisik dan sosial antara komunitas berpendapatan rendah dan tinggi. Urbanisasi yang cepat menuntut solusi desain yang inklusif untuk mengatasi ketimpangan ini.Rancangan desain yang diusulkan dalam tugas akhir menggunakan pendekatan place-making yang berfokus pada penciptaan ruang publik yang menarik dan fungsional. Dalam Pendekatan ini melibatkan empat variabel utama penentu desain: akses dan sistem penghubung, sosiabilitas, fungsi dan aktivitas, serta kenyamanan dan citra tempat. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, analisis kontekstual, dan studi literatur terkait. Dengan konsep desain place making pada bangunan mix use yang iklusif dan mengabungkan program ruang yang beragam, termasuk area olahraga, sentra kuliner, dan pusat seni, diharapakan dapat meningkatkan interaksi sosial dan mengurangi segregasi spasial yang terjadi di BSD.

The phenomenon of spatial segregation in BSD reflects social inequality characterized by physical and social separation between low-income and high-income communities. Rapid urbanization demands inclusive design solutions to address this disparity. The proposed design approach in the final project uses a place-making approach that focuses on reating attractive and functional public spaces. This approach involves four main variabel desain: access and linkage systems, sociability, function and activity, and comfort and place image. Data is collected through direct observation, contextual analysis, and relevant literature studies.The place-making design concept for inclusive mixed-use buildings integrates diverse space programs, including sports areas, culinary centers, and art centers. It is expected to enhance social interaction and reduce the spatial segregation occurring in BSD.
