Abstract

In most countries in the world, there is an increase in population accompanied by greater human personal needs, one of which is conventional motorized vehicles. So that because of this, the resulting vehicle emissions in the form of carbon monoxide are also increasing. One solution that can be offered to reduce pollution from motorized vehicles is the use of electric vehicles. One type of electric motor that is often used is the BLDC motor. The Field Oriented Control (FOC) method is a control technique used in controlling Brushless DC (BLDC) motors and reducing torque ripple. In this context, simulations are carried out using Simulink and Simscape in controlling sensored BLDC motors using the FOC method. The speed variations used are 100 rpm and 200 rpm. While in the loading test a load of 40 kg, 60 kg, and 80 kg is used. The results obtained in this simulation are that the overall graph generated has no torque ripple that appears. And the higher the rpm value and the load used, the higher the time required to reach the set point.
