Abstract

Rumah tinggal merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok bagi setiap individu. Memiliki rumah tinggal yang baik penting untuk menyediakan perlindungan, kenyamanan, dan keamanan bagi penghuni. Melihat kebutuhan akan rumah tinggal di Indonesia yang cukup meningkat setiap tahunnya, maka penting seorang Arsitek dapat terus mengembangkan ilmu agar dapat menciptakan ruang yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan keperluan penghuni. Penerapan 13 Butir Kompetensi Arsitek akan dipaparkan melalui unsur-unsur perancangan desain arsitektur rumah tinggal di Perumahan Tanjung Bunga di Makassar dan Pemukiman Petemon di Surabaya. Dalam proses perancangan ini arsitek telah melakukan studi preseden, analisa lingkungan, pendalaman profil dan kebutuhan klien, serta menerapkan prinsip arsitektur pada elemen-elemen desain yang dapat menciptakan sebuah proyek yang efektif, efesien, dan tentunya menarik secara estetika visual.

House is one of the basic needs for every individual. Having a good house is important to provide protection, comfort and security for it's residents. Seeing that the demand for residential houses in Indonesia is increasing every year, it is important for an architect to always develop architectural knowledge in order to create spaces that suit the needs and requirements of the residents. The application of the 13 Architectural Competency Points will be explained through the elements of residential house design at Tanjung Bunga Housing in Makassar and Petemon Settlement in Surabaya. In this design process, architect has carried out precedent studies, environmental analysis, deepening the client's profile and needs, and applying architectural principles to design elements that can create a project that is effective, efficient, and of course visually aesthetically attractive.
