Abstract
Since 2014 to 2021, the Indonesian government has been working hard to improve the dwelling time process throughout the major ports of Indonesia. According to Marine Traffic Data for 2017, Indonesia is among the countries with the slowest dwelling time process among ASEAN countries. Dwelling time processes in Indonesia are on average over three days. By 2021, the government has planned that, before 2024, the dwelling time process should be able to be done in one day. To that end, the evaluation and improvement of the dwelling time process is one of the solutions to the problem. In scientific studies, the best method for conducting system-based process evaluation is to use the process mining approach. In previous studies, process modelling problems were extensively studied with the trace clustering method. But this approach focuses only on the perspective of process control. In a process, there are other perspectives that also influence the course of the process, such as workloads, resources, waiting times, and other indicators called multi-perspectives.
Based on the discussion, the study proposes business process optimization from a multi-perspective perspective. A business process optimization method that combines process mining, job shop, and multivariate clustering and is collaborated with a hybrid method with a dynamic system simulation approach, discrete event simulation, and agent-based simulation to optimize business processes with Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). As for the dataset used in this research, the dataset event log Process Dwelling time from PT Port Terminal Petikemas Surabaya. The results showed a decrease in asynchronous waiting time (AWT) of 75.24% and process cost efficiency of 8.47%. TPS staff performance improved by 3.33%, customs and quarantine staff performed by 9.52%, and PLP staff increased by 3.84%. The predictions of the dynamic system showed that the number of containers leaving the port increased by 0.2% from the selected simulation alternative.
