Abstract
Lobster batu (Panulirus Penicillatus) merupakan salah satu komoditas perikanan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi. Namun, keberhasilan budidaya lobster batu sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas air yang optimal. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem kualitas air otomatis yang mampu meningkatkan produktivitas budidaya lobster batu. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan fitur pengamatan dan pengaturan kualitas air yang terintegrasi, mencakup sensor pH, suhu, dan oksigen terlarut (DO). Penelitian menunjukkan parameter yang optimal untuk budidaya lobster batu adalah suhu 25◦C - 26◦C, nilai pH 6.5-8.5, dan dissolve oxygen 6.5-9mg/l. Nilai dari parameter tersebut mampu untuk meningkatkan produktivitas lobster batu dari segi bobot. Pertambahan bobot rata-rata pada lobster yang dikontrol ialah ± 1gr, sedangkan untuk lobster yang tidak dikontrol ialah ± 0.5gr dalam 5 hari. Hal ini menjelaskan bahwa lingkungan yang terkontrol mampu untuk meningkatkan produktivitas lobster batu.

Rock lobster (Panulirus penicillatus) is a fishery commodity that has high economic value. However, the success of rock lobster cultivation is greatly influenced by optimal water quality. This final project aims to design and build an automated water quality system capable of increasing the productivity of rock lobster farming. The system is equipped with integrated water quality observation and regulation features, including pH, temperature, and dissolved oxygen (DO) sensors. The research shows that the optimal parameters for rock lobster farming are a temperature of 25◦C - 26◦C, a pH value of 6.5-8.5, and a DO value of 6.5-9mg/l. The value of these parameters is able to increase the productivity of rock lobsters in terms of weight. The average weight gain in controlled lobsters is ± 1gr, while for uncontrolled lobsters it is ± 0.5gr in 5 days. This explains that a controlled environment is able to increase the productivity of rock lobsters.
