Abstract

linier berganda memiliki koefisien determinasi sebesar 51,20%=Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a sustainable program that aims to improve
the welfare of the world community and preserve nature. Stunting is one of the targets of the
SDGs which is included in the 2nd goal. Stunting is caused by multi-dimensional factors such
as health and nutritional factors, socio-economic factors and environmental factors. This
research discusses the analysis of factors that are thought to influence the prevalence rate of
stunting under five in districts/cities in East Java. The response variable for this research is the
prevalence rate of stunting under five and the research unit is the district/city in East Java
Province. The analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression and Geographically
Weighted Regression involving the characteristics of each district/city. The results of multiple
linear regression analysis show that the percentage of families with access to adequate
sanitation and the percentage of children under five who receive complete immunization have
a significant effect on the stunting prevalence rate in East Java Province. Based on the model
comparison analysis, it was concluded that the Geographically Weighted Regression model is
better than the multiple linear regression model because it has a greater coefficient of
determination which is 73,87%, while the multiple linear regression model has a coefficient of
determination of 51,20%.
