Abstract
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk memberikan kontribusi pada optimalisasipemberian beasiswa. Dengan mengidentifikasi area-area perbaikan, DinasPendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kalimantan Barat dapat meningkatkan akurasi dalampemilihan penerima beasiswa, sehingga dana beasiswa dapat disalurkan kepadamereka yang benar-benar memenuhi kriteria dan membutuhkan dukunganpendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi proses validasi calonpenerima beasiswa pendidikan melalui platform SIAPLAH yang diterapkanolehDinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kalimantan Barat. Metode penelitianyangdigunakan penelitian ini Bussines Process Improvement (BPI) dan Failure Modeand Effects Analysis (FMEA). Karena dengan BPI dapat mengevaluasi dalampenyelarasan proses dengan tujuan dan strategi organisasi. Dalamkontekspenelitian ini, BPI dapat membantu Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kalimantan Barat untuk memastikan bahwa proses validasi beasiswa mendukungpencapaian tujuan organisasional terkait pendidikan. Sedangkan FMEAdigunakan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi risiko, kegagalan, dan kelemahandalam proses validasi. Melalui analisis ini, penelitian dapat mengenali titik-titikkritis dalam proses yang dapat menyebabkan kegagalan atau masalah. Sehinggadengan FMEA ini dapat memperbaiki dengan memberikan skor pada setiap risikodan dampaknya. Hal ini memungkinkan penelitian untuk menentukan denganjelas area yang memerlukan perhatian dan perbaikan segera untuk meningkatkanproses validasi. Hasil penelitian: Rekomendasi proses bisnis calon penerima PBPdibuat berdasarkan rancangan perbaikan proses bisnis yang telah dilakukanmenggunakan metode Business Process Improvement (BPI). Terdapat beberapaaktivitas yang mengalami perubahan, aktivitas yang ditambahkan hingga aktivitasyang dihilangkan. Dari hasil simulasi yang dilakukan pada proses bisnis saat ini
(As-Is) dan proses bisnis rekomendasi (To-Be) ditemukan bahwa peningkatanpada Time Analysis mencapai 35,52% pada proses validasi bisnis calon penerimaPBP, 30,79% pada pelaksanaan validasi bisnis calon penerima PBP, dan 65,14%pada evaluasi validasi bisnis calon penerima PBP

This research was carried out to contribute to the optimization of scholarship awards. By identifying areas of improvement, the West Kalimantan Education and Culture Office can improve accuracy in selecting scholarship recipients, so that scholarship funds can be channeled to those who truly meet the criteria and need educational support. This study aims to evaluate the validation process of prospective recipients of educational scholarships through the Siaplah platform implemented by the West Kalimantan Education and Culture Office. The research methods used in this study are Business Process Improvement (BPI) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Because BPI can evaluate in aligning the process with the organization's goals and strategies. In the context of this research, BPI can assist the West Kalimantan Education and Culture Office to ensure that the scholarship validation process supports the achievement of organizational goals related to education. Meanwhile, FMEA is used to identify potential risks, failures, and weaknesses in the validation process. Through this analysis, the research can identify critical points in the process that can lead to failures or problems. So that with FMEA, it can be improved by giving a score on each risk and impact. This allows the study to clearly identify areas that need immediate attention and improvement to improve the validation process. Research results: Business process recommendations for prospective PBP recipients are made based on business process improvement designs that have been carried out using the Business Process Improvement (BPI) method. There are several activities that have changed, activities that have been added to activities that have been removed. Form the results of simulations carried out on the current business process (As-Is) and the recommendation business process (To-Be), it was found that the increase in Time Analysis reached 35,52% in the business process of prospective PBP recipients, 30,79% in the implementation of the business of prospective PBP recipients, and 65,14% in the business evaluation of prospective PBP recipients.
