Abstract
Kabupaten Probolinggo dan Lumajang merupakan salah satu daerah yang mempunyai gunung api kwarter yang berpotensi sebagai daerah sumber energi panas bumi. Manifestasi yang tampak berupa sumber air panas yang terdapat di daerah tiris, Dimana daerahnya berupa lembah yang diapit oleh kaki gunung lamongan dan argopuro. Terdapatnya manifestasi air panas di Desa Segaran, mendorong dilakukannya penelitian dengan menggunakan meode magnetik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi struktur bawah permukaan didaerah manifestasi dan mengetahui struktur yang mengontrol terjadinya manifestasi air panas. Akuisisi data dilakukan di desa segara selama 4 hari dengan luas area sekitar 25 m x 30 m dan spasi pengukuran 5 m, menggunakan alat magnetometer proton envi scintrex dan gps. Metode akuisisi data penelitian ini menggunakan medan magnetik dengan sistem base station. Pengolahan data dimulai dengan dilakukan koreksi variasi harian dan koreksi IGRF untuk mendapatkan nilai medan magnet total. Hasil pengolahan tersebut bahwa nilai medan magnet terukur memiliki nilai tertinggi sebesar -1400 nT dan nilai terendah sebesar -4400 nT. Selanjutnya dilakukan kontinuasi ke atas sampai ketinggian 30 m dan pemisahan anomali regional dan anomali lokal. Hasilnya kemudian di reduksi ke kutub, di transformasi pseudogravitasi, serta dicari gradien horisontalnya. Interpretasi dilakukan dengan menganalisa kontur anomali medan magnet total yang telah direduksi ke kutub dan juga hasil transformasi pseudogravitasi serta gradien haorisontal. Hasil interpretasi kualitatif dan kuantitatif menunjukkan adanya korelasi yang kuat antara anomali magnetik dan lokasi manifestasi geothermal, yang mendukung hipotesis bahwa patahan merupakan jalur utama bagi fluida geothermal untuk mencapai permukaan. Probolinggo and Lumajang Regencies are among the areas with Quaternary volcanoes that have the potential as geothermal energy sources. The visible manifestations include hot springs found in the Tiris area, which is a valley flanked by the foothills of Mount Lamongan and Argopuro. The presence of hot spring manifestations in Segaran Village prompted this study using the magnetic method. This research was conducted to understand the subsurface structural conditions in the manifestation area and identify the structures controlling the hot spring manifestations. Data acquisition was carried out in Segaran Village for four days, covering an area of approximately 25 meters x 30 meters with a measurement spacing of 5 meters, using a proton magnetometer (Envi Scintrex) and GPS. The data acquisition method employed magnetic field measurements with a base station system. Data processing began with diurnal variation correction and IGRF correction to obtain total magnetic field values. The processing results showed that the measured magnetic field values ranged from a high of -1400 nT to a low of -4400 nT. Subsequently, upward continuation was performed to a height of 30 meters, and regional and local anomaly separation was conducted. The results were then reduced to the pole, transformed into pseudogravity, and the horizontal gradient was calculated. Interpretation was carried out by analyzing the reduced-to-pole total magnetic field anomaly contours, as well as the pseudogravity transformation and horizontal gradient results. Qualitative and quantitative interpretations indicate a strong correlation between magnetic anomalies and the location of geothermal manifestations, supporting the hypothesis that faults are the primary pathways for geothermal fluids to reach the surface. This study provides a better understanding of the geological structure in the area and its geothermal potential.
