Abstract

Cerita Ande-Ande Lumut adalah dongeng dari daerah Jawa Timur yang merupakan turunan cerita Panji, karya sastra yang lahir di Kediri. Seiring bertambahnya waktu, cara penyampaian cerita rakyat ikut berkembang seiring perkembangan zaman. Beberapa media penyampaiannya seperti: media wayang, teater, lagu, film, dan media cetak seperti buku cerita. Hal tersebut dilakukan demi menjaga supaya budaya Indonesia terus dilestarikan dan diingat oleh generasi selanjutnya. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk menambah karya dengan tema lokal pada platform komik digital LINE Webtoon serta sebagai bentuk usaha mengemas cerita Ande-Ande Lumut dalam tema modern. Media komik digital dipilih karena melihat banyaknya media digital di zaman yang serba online ini, dan ketertarikan remaja Indonesia terhadap komik yang cukup tinggi.
Metode penelitian yang akan dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan studi literatur dari sumber buku cerita, observasi karya yang sudah ada, studi eksperimental, wawancara mendalam kepada narasumber yang ahli pada bidangnya, dan menyebarkan kuisioner. Hasil perancangan ini berupa komik digital yang disajikan dalam genre romance comedy. Komik ini akan diunggah pada platform komik digital Webtoon sehingga dapat diakses dengan mudah dan gratis. Media komik digital diharapkan dapat mengenalkan dan menyajikan cerita Ande-Ande Lumut kepada generasi muda, dan genre romance comedy digunakan dengan harapan dapat menyampaikan cerita dengan pembawaan ringan namun tetap memiliki nilai moral dari cerita asli Ande-Ande Lumut.

Ande-Ande Lumut is a folklore from East Jawa, it is a derivative story of Panji, a literary work that was born in Kediri. This story is one of the many derivative story of Panji. As time goes by, the way folklore is told has evolved along with the times. Some of the media they use are: wayang, theater, songs, films, and prints such as story books. This is done in order to ensure that Indonesian culture continues to be preserved and remembered by future generations. This design aims to become an addition to the local artistic creation on the comic platform LINE Webtoon as well as an attempt to present the Ande-Ande Lumut folklore in modern theme. This media was chosen because of the abundance of digital contents in this era, and the interest of Indonesian teenagers in comics. The research method that will be carried out is by conducting literature studies from storybook sources, observing existing works, experimental studies, in-depth interviews with sources who are experts in their fields, and distributing questionnaires. The result of this design will be a digital comic presented in the romance comedy genre. This comic will be uploaded on Webtoon platform so that it can be accessed easily and for free. It is hoped that the media used will be able to introduce and present the Ande-Ande Lumut story to the younger generation, and the romance comedy genre is used in the hope of conveying the story in a light manner but still having the moral values of the original Ande-Ande Lumut story.
