Abstract
Dengan meningkatnya tren sosioekonomi, makanan beku atau frozen food menjadi pilihan yang semakin populer. Kemasan memainkan peran penting dalam menarik minat konsumen. Beberapa produsen, termasuk PT Citra Dimensi Arthali dengan merek Cedea, menghadapi tantangan untuk meningkatkan desain kemasan mereka agar tetap bersaing. Studi ini menggabungkan pendekatan Kansei Engineering dengan metode Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) Kansei Engineering dengan metode Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF), Analisis Faktor, dan Analisis Conjoint. Kansei Engineering digunakan untuk memahami dan mengintegrasikan perasaan serta emosi konsumen ke dalam desain produk baru dengan tujuan memahami preferensi konsumen. Data kemudian diproses menggunakan TF-IDF. Analisis Faktor dan Analisis Conjoint digunakan untuk menentukan korelasi antara kata-kata Kansei dan atribut produk serta tingkat atribut tersebut. Metode purposive sampling digunakan untuk mengumpulkan sampel dari 100 responden. Dari hasil observasi, hanya 15 kata Kansei yang valid dari 27 kata Kansei. Kata-kata Kansei ini berguna untuk menggambarkan emosi dan impresi konsumen terhadap desain kemasan yang diinginkan. Kata-kata tersebut mencerminkan perasaan dan preferensi konsumen yang kemudian digunakan untuk merancang desain kemasan yang lebih sesuai. Kata-kata Kansei ini dikelompokkan menjadi 3 konsep desain terpilih yaitu konsep premium, minimalis, dan ilustrasi. Dibuat 24 sampel produk untuk evaluasi kuisioner kedua yang mengkombinasikan item dan kategori yaitu material dan bentuk kemasan, palet warna, dan desain label. Dari hasil tersebut disimpulkan bahwa konsumen lebih menyukai frozen food dengan material dan bentuk kemasan pillow bag, dengan palet warna hangat dan dengan konsep desain premium

With increasing socioeconomic trends, frozen food is becoming an increasingly popular choice. Packaging plays an important role in attracting consumer interest. Several manufacturers, including PT Citra Dimensi Arthali with the Cedea brand, face the challenge of improving their packaging designs to remain competitive. This study combines the Kansei Engineering approach with the Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) method, Factor Analysis, and Conjoint Analysis. Kansei Engineering is used to understand and integrate consumer feelings and emotions into new product designs to understand consumer preferences. The data is then processed using TF-IDF. Factor Analysis and Conjoint Analysis were used to determine the correlation between Kansei words and product attributes and the levels of these attributes. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling of 100 respondents. From the observation results, 27 desired Kansei words were obtained, but only 15 were valid. These Kansei words are useful for describing consumers' emotions and impressions of the desired packaging design. These words reflect consumer feelings and preferences and are used to design more appropriate packaging designs. These Kansei words are grouped into three selected design concepts: premium, minimalist, and illustration. Twenty-four product samples were created for the second questionnaire evaluation, combining items and categories: packaging material and shape, color palette, and label design. From these results, consumers prefer frozen food with pillow bag packaging materials and shapes, with a warm color palette, and with premium concept design
