Abstract
PT XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang memiliki core value pada peningkatan kompetensi pegawai sebagai unsur penting dalam kemajuan perusahaan. Dengan fenomena semakin kompetitifnya persaingan usaha di pasar global, maka diperlukan peningkatan kompetensi untuk memungkinkan pegawai bekerja dengan lebih inovatif, kreatif serta dapat menerapkan teknologi baru dengan lebih cepat. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, maka penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh training and development, motivasi kerja dan transformational leadership terhadap kompetensi pegawai. Adapun jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 336 pegawai dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 125 pegawai. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa training and development, motivasi kerja dan transformational leadership berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi pegawai PT XYZ. Diketahui pula bahwa motivasi kerja adalah unsur yang berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pegawai dan Training and Development merupakan elemen penting dalam upaya peningkatan kinerja. Masih terdapat ruang untuk pengembangan penelitian dengan mempertimbangkan variabel reward, work life balance serta nilai-nilai yang dianut perusahaan. Melalui penelitian ini, manajemen diharapkan dapat mengimplementasikan kebijakan yang paling tepat dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai sesuai dengan sumber daya dan sasaran yang ingin dicapai oleh perusahaan.

PT XYZ is a company that has a core value of increasing employee competency as an important element in the company's progress. With the phenomenon of increasingly competitive business competition in the global market, it is necessary to increase competency to enable employees to work more innovatively, creatively and be able to apply new technology more quickly. Based on these conditions, this research was conducted with the aim of knowing and analyzing the influence of training and development, work motivation and transformational leadership on employee competence. The population in this study was 336 employees with a sample size of 125 employees. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). From the research results, it was found that training and development, work motivation and transformational leadership had a significant effect on the competence of PT XYZ employees. It is also known that work motivation is the element that has the most influence on increasing employee competency and Training and Development is an important element in efforts to improve employee performance There is still room for research development by considering reward variables, work life balance and the values adhered to by the company. Through this research, management is expected to be able to implement the most appropriate policies in improving employee performance in accordance with the resources and targets the company wants to achieve.
