Abstract

Rancang bangun mesin CNC laser cutting CO2 ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan sebuah alat pemotong, engrav yang presisi dan efisien untuk berbagai jenis material seperti kayu, akrilik, dan logam ringan. Mesin ini didesain untuk memanfaatkan teknologi Computer Numerical Control (CNC) yang memungkinkan pemotongan dengan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi serta pengulangan yang konsisten dalam proses produksi. Sistem laser CO2 yang digunakan memiliki daya yang dapat disesuaikan sesuai dengan ketebalan dan jenis material yang dipotong, sehingga memberikan fleksibilitas dalam penggunaannya. Dalam proses perancangan, faktor-faktor seperti stabilitas mekanik, keandalan sistem kontrol, serta keselamatan operasional menjadi prioritas utama. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa mesin CNC laser cutting CO2 ini mampu menghasilkan potongan yang halus dengan toleransi dimensi yang sangat kecil. Mesin ini diharapkan dapat digunakan dalam industri kecil hingga menengah untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas produksi.

The design of this CO2 CNC laser cutting machine aims to create a precise and efficient cutting tool, engraving for various types of materials such as wood, acrylic, and light metals. This machine is designed to utilize Computer Numerical Control (CNC) technology that allows cutting with a high level of accuracy and consistent repeatability in the production process. The CO2 laser system used has adjustable power according to the thickness and type of material being cut, thus providing flexibility in its use. In the design process, factors such as mechanical stability, control system reliability, and operational safety were prioritized. The test results show that this CO2 CNC laser cutting machine is capable of producing smooth cuts with very small dimensional tolerances. This machine is expected to be used in small to medium industries to improve production efficiency and quality.
