Abstract

Sistem pemeliharaan memiliki peran penting dalam melakukan kegiatan produksi. Tujuan utama dari pemeliharaan yaitu untuk menjaga keandalan mesin (reliability) agar mesin selalu berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya. Sistem pemeliharaan pada perusahaan dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi bahwa mesin produksi sering terjadi kerusakan pada tengah-tengah proses produksi sehingga kegagalan fungsi mesin akan terjadi yang menyebabkan produktivitas menurun, serta biaya maintenance yang besar. Dalam sebuah industri konstruksi minyak dan gas, diperlukan adanya mesin Cathode Washing Striping Machine yang digunakan untuk penyulingan tembaga agar dapat meningkatkan produksi serta meningkatkan keselamatan kerja seperti di PT Chiyoda International Indonesia. Dari seluruh mesin yang digunakan dalam proses produksi tersebut, mesin Cathode Washing Striping Machine lebih sering mengalami kerusakan dibandingkan dengan mesin yang lain. penelitian ini akan memberikan usulan mengenai preventif maintenance pada mesin CSM di PT Chiyoda International Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Reliabilty Centered Machine (RCM) dan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Melalui metode tersebut akan dilihat bagaimana perbandingan maintenance yang sedang berjalan dengan maintenance usulan

The maintenance system has an important role in carrying out production activities. The main purpose of maintenance is to maintain machine reliability so that the machine always functions as it should. The maintenance system in the company is carried out to anticipate that production machines often occur damage in the middle of the production process so that machine malfunctions will occur which cause decreased productivity, as well as large maintenance costs. In an oil and gas construction industry, it is necessary to have a Cathode Washing Striping Machine used for copper refining in order to increase production and improve work safety such as at PT Chiyoda International Indonesia. Of all the machines used in the production process, the Cathode Washing Striping Machine is more often damaged than other machines. This research will provide proposals regarding preventive maintenance on CSM machines at PT Chiyoda International Indonesia. The methods used in this research are Reliabilty Centered Machine (RCM) and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). This method will be used to compare the ongoing maintenance with the proposed maintenance.
