Abstract

Laporan ini mendokumentasikan kegiatan magang yang dilakukan di UPT. Balai Yasa Surabaya Gubeng, dengan fokus pada analisis struktur bogie frame jenis TB 1014 (K10) kereta ekonomi premium dalam kondisi exceptional loads. Magang ini bertujuan untuk mengaplikasikan teori yang dipelajari di perkuliahan ke dalam praktik industri, serta memahami lebih dalam tentang prosedur perawatan rangka bawah kereta. Melalui analisis beban dan gaya yang bekerja pada bogie frame, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan kelemahan struktur dalam berbagai kondisi pembebanan. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa bogie frame dapat menahan beban dengan deformasi dan tegangan yang masih dalam batas aman, namun beberapa perbaikan diperlukan untuk meningkatkan faktor keamanan. Laporan ini juga memberikan wawasan tentang operasi perawatan dan pemeliharaan di Balai Yasa serta implikasinya terhadap industri perkeretaapian di Indonesia.

This report documents the internship activities conducted at UPT. Balai Yasa Surabaya Gubeng, focusing on the structural analysis of the TB 1014 (K10) bogie frame of premium economy class trains under exceptional load conditions. The internship aimed to apply theoretical knowledge from coursework to industrial practice and to gain a deeper understanding of the maintenance procedures for the underframe of trains. Through load and force analysis on the bogie frame, this study identifies the strengths and weaknesses of the structure under various loading conditions. The simulation results show that the bogie frame can withstand loads with deformation and stress levels within safe limits, though some improvements are necessary to enhance the safety factor. This report also provides insights into the maintenance and overhaul operations at Balai Yasa and their implications for the railway industry in Indonesia.
