Abstract

Mellary Ihza Qudrotunanda / 10611810000045 : Business Statistics FV-ITS : Ir. Mutiah Salamah Chamid, M.Kes. Cesarean parturition has a high risk for both mother and baby, such as complications and death. Ploso Regional Hospital is a hospital in Jombang Regency that has experienced an increase in the number of caesarean deliveries. Ploso Hospital has a caesarean parturition rate of 38.59% in 2020 exceeding the limit for caesarean deliveries. This study was conducted to determine what variables are thought to have an effect on babies born by caesarean parturition at Ploso Hospital using binary logistic regression analysis method. Based on the results of the study, it was found that 39.74% of mothers who gave birth to babies by caesarean section of the 229 births that occurred at the Ploso Hospital in 2020. The majority of the categories of mothers who gave birth to cesarean deliveries were 20.09% maternal age at risk, 23.14% gestational age not at risk, 32.31% mothers who have a history of caesarean parturition, 24.89% of mothers have hypertension, 29.26% of mothers with male babies, 17.47% of mothers with low birth weight babies, 20.52% of mothers with normal baby's head position, 30.13% mothers with normal amniotic conditions, 34.93% of mothers with placental conditions did not cover the birth canal, and 24.89% of mothers who did not experience prolonged labor. Variables that have a significant effect on caesarean parturition at Ploso Hospital are mothers who have a history of caesarean parturition, mothers have hypertension, number of deliveries in risk categories, abnormal amniotic conditions, and abnormal baby head position.
