Abstract

Dalam menempuh kehidupan, manusia bekerja untuk mendapatkan penghasilan dan bertahan hidup. Tujuannya, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan melalui hasil dari pekerjaan. Seiring berjalannya waktu, semakin banyak perkantoran di perkotaan yang muncul dan memiliki karakteristik bangunan masing-masing. Tetapi dengan pertumbuhan kantor, terdapat masalah kesehatan yang sering terjadi di lingkungan kantor, yaitu sick building syndrome. Keluhan kesehatan berupa sakit tenggorokan, hidung tersumbat, sakit kepala dapat diantisipasi dengan memperhatikan aspek Kesehatan di interior kantor. Konsep ESID (environment sustainable interior design) mampu mendukung terciptanya lingkungan yang nyaman dan sehat, dengan memperhatikan kualitas udara dalam ruangan, material, efisiensi energi, penggunaan air, dan waste pollution. Konsep yang memperhatikan aspek kesejahteraan pekerja termasuk dalam SDG nomor 8 yaitu (wellbeing). Oleh alasan tersebut disusun hipotesa desain untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pekerja di cabang kantor di Jawa Timur, yaitu PT. Pupuk Kaltim yang berletak di Surabaya dengan mengaplikasikan konsep Environmentally Sustainable Interior Design (ESID). Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif berupa wawancara langsung dengan pekerja di dalam kantor, dan kuantitatif dengan mengumpulkan kuisioner pada masyarakat yang pernah berkunjung/bekerja di dalam kantor. Hasil desain berupa Mengaplikasian material sustainable (steel, aluminium) sebagai fasad dan elemen estetis, mineral wool pada plafon dan tembok sebagai soundproofing dan menjaga massa termal. PVB laminated glass untuk menyaring uv�ray yang masuk di dalam ruangan. Beeswax low VOC dan Linseed oil sebagai coating furniture dan lantai. Jendela yang dapat dibuka dan penggunaan tanaman lidah mertua dan spider plants untuk menyaring udara di dalam ruangan. Pola bunga anggrek dan buah kapul khas Kalimantan Timur juga di aplikasikan pada elemen estetis sebagai branding perusahaan.

In life, humans work to earn and survive. The goal is to meet food needs through the results of work. As time goes by, more and more offices in urban areas appear and have their own building characteristics. But with the growth of the office, there is a health problem that often occurs in the office environment, namely sick building syndrome. Health complaints in the form of sore throat, stuffy nose, headaches can be anticipated by paying attention to the Health aspect in the office interior. The concept of ESID (environment sustainable interior design) is able to support the creation of a comfortable and healthy environment, taking into account indoor air quality, materials, energy efficiency, water use, and waste pollution. The concept that pays attention to aspects of worker welfare is included in SDG number 8, namely (wellbeing). For this reason, a design hypothesis was developed to increase worker productivity in the branch office in East Java, namely PT. Pupuk Kaltim located in Surabaya by applying the concept of Environmentally Sustainable Interior Design (ESID). The research method used is a qualitative method in the form of direct interviews with workers in the office, and quantitative by collecting questionnaires for people who have visited/worked in the office. The results of the design are the application of sustainable materials (steel, aluminum) as facades and aesthetic
elements, mineral wool on the ceiling and walls as soundproofing and maintaining thermal mass. PVB laminated glass to filter UV rays that enter the room. Beeswax low VOC and Linseed oil as a coating for furniture and floors. Windows that can be opened and the use of dracaena trifasciata and spider plants to filter the air in the room. The pattern of orchids and kapul fruit as exotic plants of East Kalimantan is also applied to aesthetic elements as company branding.
