Abstract

Gas Rumah Kaca merupakan gas-gas yang ada di atmosfer yang menyebabkan efek rumah kaca. Gas rumah kaca berfungsi dengan menyerap radiasi inframerah dan ikut menentukan suhu di atmosfer. Sehingga dalam membantu penurunan Gas Rumah Kaca (GRK) global, setiap kota di Indonesia wajib untuk membuat Rencana Aksi Nasional Penurunan Gas Rumah Kaca (RAN-GRK) dalam rencana pembangunan daerahnya. Inventarisasi GRK dilakukan dengan pemantauan dan pengumpulan data aktivitas sumber emisi serta perhitungan emisi dan serapan GRK. Sehingga diperoleh data mengenai tingkat, status, dan kecenderungan perubahan emisi GRK secara berkala dari berbagai sumber emisi dan penyerapannya termasuk simpanan karbon. Kota Surabaya memiliki jumlah penduduk 2.874.314 Jiwa. Pertumbuhan penduduk yang di Kota Surabaya yang cepat, menyebabkan Emisi GRK yang dihasilkan semakin besar .studi ini bertujuan untuk menentukan beban emisi GRK dan pemetaannya pada sebuah peta dasar Kota Surabaya. Metode perhitungan yang digunakan akan menggunakan IPCC dan melalui 2 metode alternatif yang akan didapat melalui. Inventarisasi pada studi ini meliputi 4 sektor. sektor energi, sektor limbah, Sektor AFOLU Agricultural, Forestry, and Other Land Uses), dan IPPU (Industrial Process and Product Uses). Hasil studi diketahui terdapat metode alternatif untuk Inventarisasi Emisi GRK. Setiap metode memiliki keuntungan tersendiri daripada metode IPCC Emisi GRK di kota Surabaya dengan metode altenatif untuk sektor Limbah 160,732 Gg CO2, sektor energi 899,031 Gg CO2, sektor AFOLU 54,283 Gg CO2, dan sektor IPPU 13,248 Gg CO2. Total Emisi GRK seluruh sektor di Kota Surabaya dengan metode alternatif yaitu 1.127,294 Gg CO2

Greenhouse Gases are gases in atmosphere which causes Greenhouse Effect. Greenhouse gases absorb infrared radiation and change the temperature in atmosphere accordingly. In helping reducing the number of Greenhouse Gases in the atmosphere, every City in Indonesia must have Greenhouse Gas Reduction National Action Planning (RAN-GRK) in its territory construction. Greenhouse gases Inventory consist of monitoring and collection of emission source activity data and emission calculation. After calculation, a data of level, status and possibility of emission change are found from various emission source and it absorption including carbon saving. Surabaya City has a total population of 2.874.314 person. Fast population growth in Surabaya causes a high number of Greenhouse Gases emission produced in Surabaya. This study are used to estimate Greenhouse Gases emission in a basic map of Surabaya. Method of estimation used are from IPCC and two other Alternative method. Alternative method will be obtained from studying journals. In this Greenhouse Gas Inventory will cover 4 sector. The sector are Energy Sector, Waste Sector, AFOLU (Agricultural, Forestry, and Other Land Uses) Sector, and IPPU (Industrial Process and Product Uses) Sector. Result of the study founds there are alternate method for Greenhouse Gases Emission Inventory. Every method has it’s own advantage and disadvantage. Greenhouse Gases Emission Inventory Results in Surabaya city with alternate method is 160,732 Gg CO2, for waste sector, 899,031 Gg CO2 for energy sector, 54,283 Gg CO2 for AFOLU sector, and 13,248 Gg CO2 for IPPU sector. Total emission in Surabaya city is 1.127,294 Gg CO2
