Abstract

Construction development is one of the factors that can support economic growth. In the implementation of a construction project, appropriate construction methods are needed to achieve the suitability of quality, cost, and time. Currently, the concrete printing or formwork sector is experiencing significant development with various methods that can affect the cost and time of implementation. One method that has emerged is the use of aluminium formwork, a type of formwork made of aluminium and has different specifications and characteristics compared to conventional formwork that uses wood. The object studied in this project is RSUD Tigaraksa, Tangerang. In the implementation of formwork on the construction project of RSUD Tigaraksa located in Tangerang City, Banten using conventional formwork methods which are wood-based formwork. Meanwhile, currently formwork is developing with many methods that affect the cost and time of carrying out the work. One of them is the aluminium formwork method, which is an aluminium formwork material which is environmentally friendly and economical. Therefore, the result of this research on the construction of RSUD Tigaraksa, the formwork for columns, beams, and floor slab using conventional formwork cost Rp. 10.496.284.351, and takes 202 days, while aluminium formwork cost Rp. 16.758.183.120, and it takes 138 days
