Abstract
Industri alkohol skala rumah tangga yang berada di Desa Bekonang Kabupaten Sukoharjo merupakan industri alkohol yang sudah lama ada dan sudah turun temurun dari generasi ke genarasi. Proses produksi alkohol di Desa Bekonang dilakukan dengan cara distilasi dengan bahan baku utama tetes tebu. Air limbah hasil distilasi ini memiliki warna coklat pekat dan berbau sedikit menyengat. Air limbah ini juga memiliki nilai COD, BOD, TSS dan nutrien yang tinggi sehingga perlu diolah terlebih dahulu sebelum dibuang ke lingkungan. Oleh karena itu akan direncanakan instalasi pengolahan air limbah untuk mengolah air limbah hasil produksi alkohol di Desa Bekonang. Perencanaan ini dilakukan dengan melakukan pengambilan data primer melalui survey dan uji laboratorium serta data sekunder dengan melakukan tinjauan pustaka. Dari tinjauan pustaka didapat kriteria desain yang kemudian digunakan untuk perhitungan unit pengolahan. Dari hasil perhitungan kemudian dilakukan penggambaran sesuai kaidah gambar teknik. Berdasarkan hasil dari perencanaan, didapat debit air limbah rata-rata sebesar 5,88 m3 /hari dan debit air limbah maksimum sebesar 9,408 m3 /hari. Air limbah dari masing-masing industri diangkut menuju IPAL dengan menggunakan mobil bak. Teknologi pengolahan yang digunakan adalah saringan, bak ekualisasi, anaerobik baffled reaktor, moving bed bioreactor, dan clarifier. Kualitas air limbah hasil pengolahan didapat sebesar TSS 74 mg/L, COD 193 mg/L, BOD 84 mg/L. Luas lahan yang diperlukan untuk pembangunan IPAL sebesar 246 m2 dengan total biaya investasi sebesar Rp208.103.096,43

The household-scale alcohol industry in Bekonang Village, Sukoharjo Regency is an alcohol industry that has existed for a long time and has been passed down from generation to generation. The alcohol production process in Bekonang Village is carried out by distillation with molasses as the main raw material. This distilled wastewater has a dark brown color and has a slightly pungent smell. This wastewater also has high COD, BOD, TSS and nutrient values so it needs to be treated first before being discharged into the environment. Therefore, a wastewater treatment plant will be planned to treat wastewater produced by alcohol in Bekonang Village. Planning is done by collecting primary data through surveys and laboratory tests. Secondary data by conducting a literature review. From the literature review, the design criteria were obtained which were then used for the calculation of the processing reactor. From the results of the calculation, then a drawing is carried out according to the rules of engineering drawings in environmental engineering. Based on the results of the planning, the average wastewater discharge is 5.88 m3/day and the maximum wastewater discharge is 9.408 m3/day. Wastewater from each industry is transported to the WWTP using the existing pickup trucks. The treatment technology used is a filter, equalization tank, settling tank 1, anaerobic baffled reactor, moving bed bioreactor, and settling tank 2. The quality of the wastewater from the treatment is TSS 74 mg/L, COD 193 mg/L, BOD 84 mg/L. The area of land required for the construction of the WWTP is 246 m2 with a total investment cost of Rp208.103.096,43.
