Abstract
Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan dokumen resmi yang dilakukan secara manual, seperti kesalahan pencatatan, kesulitan pencarian dokumen, dan risiko kehilangan dokumen. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, dikembangkan sebuah sistem berbasis web bernama "Website Manajemen Surat" yang dirancang khusus untuk mendukung administrasi di Bank BRI Regional Office Surabaya. Sistem ini memanfaatkan framework Laravel untuk backend, Tailwind CSS untuk frontend, dan MySQL sebagai basis data, dengan pendekatan arsitektur Model-View-Controller (MVC). Fitur utama sistem mencakup pencatatan, pengelolaan, dan pencarian dokumen yang meliputi surat biasa, surat intern, dan surat rahasia. Pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan dokumen dengan menyediakan antarmuka yang user-friendly, responsif, dan aman. Selain itu, sistem berhasil mengurangi penggunaan kertas, mendukung inisiatif ramah lingkungan. Sistem ini juga memungkinkan pengembangan lebih lanjut seperti integrasi notifikasi email dan penyimpanan berbasis cloud untuk meningkatkan fleksibilitas akses data.

Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) faces challenges in managing official documents manually, such as recording errors, difficulty in searching documents, and the risk of document loss. To address these issues, a web-based system called the "Website Manajemen Surat" (Letter Management Website) was developed, specifically designed to support administration at the BRI Regional Office Surabaya. This system utilizes the Laravel framework for the backend, Tailwind CSS for the frontend, and MySQL as the database, with an architecture based on the Model-View-Controller (MVC) approach. The main features of the system include recording, managing, and searching documents, encompassing regular letters, internal letters, and confidential letters. Testing showed that the system effectively improves document management efficiency by providing a user-friendly, responsive, and secure interface. Furthermore, the system successfully reduces paper usage, supporting environmentally friendly initiatives. The system also allows for further development, such as email notification integration and cloud-based storage, to enhance data access flexibility.
