Abstract

Virtual Reality (VR) allows for deep immersive experiences, including in traffic accident simulations. This internship aims to transform dashcam accident videos into the VR world, creating a realistic experience for users. The system was developed using Unity and Meta XR SDK, including the design of a virtual environment based on dashcam recordings, vehicle movement simulation with Wheel Collider, and deformation effects due to collisions. Test results show that the system successfully meets functional requirements, such as the realism of vehicle movement and VR device integration, although vehicle deformation still needs further development. This project contributes to the development of VR-based accident simulation technology that can be utilized for education and traffic safety analysis.
