Abstract
Penelitian ini menganalisis pengembangan jaringan distribusi air bersih di Kecamatan Kranggan, Kota Mojokerto, yang dikelola oleh PDAM Maja Tirta. Saat ini, Kecamatan Kranggan menghadapi masalah jumlah air yang keluar terlalu sedikit akibat tekanan air yang rendah, sehingga tidak mencukupi kebutuhan yang terus meningkat seiring bertambahnya jumlah penduduk dan perkembangan wilayah. Pada tahun 2023, kebutuhan air eksisting mencapai 167,97 l/s, sementara pada tahun 2043 diproyeksikan meningkat menjadi 180,17 l/s. Debit air yang tersedia saat ini hanya 100 l/s, menyebabkan kinerja sistem jaringan eksisting kurang optimal dengan tekanan air kurang dari 0,5 atm di Kelurahan Kranggan dan Kelurahan Meri. Untuk memastikan ketersediaan air yang memadai pada jam puncak dengan tekanan > 0,5 atm dan kecepatan > 0,3 m/s, beberapa langkah pengembangan diusulkan. Pertama, mengganti sistem jaringan dari sistem cabang menjadi melingkar (Loop) dengan menambahkan pipa koneksi berdiameter 250 mm dari material pipa baja sepanjang 3900 m. Kedua, menambahkan pompa booster baru untuk mengoptimalkan sistem. Ketiga, menambah debit produksi di unit pengelolaan IPA sebesar 300 l/s sehingga total debit produksi mencapai 500 l/s pada tahun 2043.

This study analyzes the development of the clean water distribution network in Kranggan District, Mojokerto City, managed by PDAM Maja Tirta. Currently, Kranggan District faces issues with insufficient water output due to low water pressure, which fails to meet the increasing demand driven by population growth and regional development. In 2023, the existing water demand reached 167.97 l/s, while by 2043, it is projected to increase to 180.17 l/s. The available water flow is currently only 100 l/s, resulting in suboptimal performance of the existing network system with water pressure below 0.5 atm in Kranggan and Meri Sub-Districts. To ensure adequate water availability during peak hours with pressure > 0.5 atm and velocity > 0.3 m/s, several development measures are proposed. First, replacing the network system from a branch system to a loop system by adding 250 mm diameter steel pipe connections along 3900 m. Second, adding new booster pumps to optimize the system. Third, increasing the production flow rate at the water treatment unit by 300 l/s, resulting in a total production flow rate of 500 l/s by 2043. These steps aim to improve the performance of the water distribution system in Kranggan District to meet the clean water needs of the community in the future.
