Abstract

Samator.

The competition in facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has driven PT. Samator to implement the ERP system (Epicor) to integrate all aspects of the company's business operations. The large number of ERP feature requirements from various stakeholders, coupled with high costs and resource limitations, poses a critical challenge. Proper business process mapping is crucial to ensure that feature requirements can be implemented within the available budget and resources. Therefore, prioritization of these feature requirements is necessary. The ERP system implementation focuses on three divisions: procurement, logistics, and accounting & finance. Feature prioritization is conducted to determine which features should be implemented first.
This research employs the Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) method with an Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) approach and the Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) method. Requirements are analyzed using the CBA method to obtain financial benefit information and feasibility by calculating the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP). Subsequently, AHP calculations utilize three criteria: Business Value, Impact on Business Process, and Urgency, to rank the requirements within each division.
The results of this research provide a recommendation for the ranked list of features from the three divisions using the AHP method based on the total score of requirements. The CBA analysis offers detailed financial information by evaluating the feasibility of each requirement through NPV, PP, and IRR calculations. The CBA analysis results produce weighted scores from the calculations of NPV, PP, and IRR. Meanwhile, AHP evaluates and assigns weights to the three criteria (Business Value, Impact on Business Process, and Urgency) based on respondents' assessments of the requirements, resulting in an average score. Thus, the requirement ranking is determined using the final total score. The implementation strategy that optimizes costs and enhances the benefits of ERP system development involves implementing the top 1 to 5 ranked features from each division in the first quarter. Subsequently, the features ranked 6 to 10 of each division are implemented, aligning with the available budget and resources at PT. Samator.
