Abstract

Penelitian tesis berjudul "Analisis Kelayakan Pemilihan Lokasi Pemasangan kWh Meter AMI untuk Mendukung Smart Grid di PT PLN UID Jawa Barat" bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengoptimalkan kelayakan lokasi pemasangan kWh meter AMI sebagai pendukung Smart Grid diwilayah kerja PT PLN (Persero) UID Jawa Barat, yang tersebar pada 86 ULP, 17 UP3. Namun, dengan roadmap pemasangan kWh meter AMI sebanyak 34.000.000 set selama 15 tahun di PT PLN (Persero) seluruh Indonesia, tentu membutuhkan evaluasi kelayakan berdasarkan kriteria sesuai kebutuhan perusahaan, agar dapat dibuat analisa cost and benefit yang maksimal. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan berbagai sumber data, dari perusahaan dari tahun 2021 sampai dengan tahun 2023, yaitu berupa data jumlah pelanggan per UP3 dan per ULP, percepatan penerimaan Cash In bagi PLN berdasarkan data potensi tunggakan rekening listrik perbulan per UP3, biaya operasioanl perusahaan yang dapat dikurangi dengan pemasangan kWh meter AMI, potensi penambahan pendapatan diluar penjualan kWh meter (Beyond kWh) dengan pemanfaatan infrastruktur yang dibangun untuk pemasangan kWh meter AMI. Sementara itu, hasil pengolahan data akan diformulasikan menjadi solusi alternatif yang disajikan dalam bentuk rekomendasi prioritas lokasi pemasangan kWh meter AMI berdasarkan volume roadmap perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan rekomendasi yang terinformasi bagi PT PLN (Persero) UID Jawa Barat dalam menentukan lokasi pemasangan kWh meter AMI yang tepat dan sesuai skala prioritas diharapkan mampu memberikan manfaat yang optimal bagi PLN yang berkomitmen mendukung Net Zero Emission pada tahun 2060, dengan membangun lebih banyak pembangkit listrik terbarukan dan meluncurkan Smart Grid sebagai sistem pendukungnya.

This thesis research titled "Feasibility Analysis of Selecting Locations for Installing AMI kWh Meters to Support Smart Grid at PT PLN UID Jawa Barat" aims to analyze and optimize the feasibility of installing AMI kWh meters to support Smart Grid in the working area of PT PLN (Persero) UID Jawa Barat, which spread over 86 ULP, 17 UP3. However, with the roadmap for installing 5,000,000 AMI kWh meters per year, from 2025 to 2034, for all customers at PT PLN (Persero) throughout Indonesia, of course requires a feasibility analysis based on criteria according to the company's needs, so that priorities can be made and obtained maximum benefit. This research utilizes various data sources, from companies from 2021 to 2023, namely in the form of data on the number of customers per UP3 and per ULP, acceleration of Cash In receipts for PLN based on data on potential monthly electricity bill arrears per UP3, company operational costs that can be reduced By installing AMI kWh meters, there is potential for additional income outside of kWh meter sales (Beyond kWh) by utilizing the infrastructure built for installing AMI kWh meters. Meanwhile, the results of data processing will be formulated into alternative solutions which will be presented in the form of priority recommendations for installation locations for AMI kWh meters based on the company's roadmap volume. This research aims to provide informed recommendations for PT PLN (Persero) UID Jawa Barat in determining the correct location for installing AMI kWh meters and according to the priority scale. It is hoped that it will be able to provide optimal benefits for PLN which is committed to supporting Net Zero Emission in 2060, by building more many renewable power plants and launched Smart Grid as a supporting system.
