Abstract

This study aims to analyze the remaining life and reliability of a 12-inch Main Oil Line (MOL) subsea pipeline using a predictive model based on operational loads. The data used include pipe specifications, operational conditions, and pipe wall thickness inspection results. The calculations involve statistical analysis, analytical approaches, and simulations based on ANSYS software. Validation is carried out on the stress experienced by the pipe at minimum thickness to ensure its structural integrity. In addition, the reliability analysis uses Monte Carlo simulation to determine the probability of failure based on various corrosion scenarios. The results show that the pipe has a remaining life of 24 years with a sufficient level of reliability during this period, provided that inspections and maintenance are carried out periodically. This study provides important insights into managing the integrity of subsea pipelines, especially for long-term operations
