Abstract
====================================================================================================================================
PT Yasulor Indonesia encounters substantial logistical challenges in its warehouse operations. Operating within a bonded zone, the company must meticulously document all incoming and outgoing goods to maintain balanced stock levels. Current systems, including an OTIF strategy and call-off inventory management, effectively manage Class A materials but fail to adequately track and follow up on Class B and C materials. This gap necessitates a robust, immediate solution. This project proposes a VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) tool to enhance the scheduling system for Class B and C materials, ensuring production targets are met. The methodology includes data collection, model development, validation, scenario analysis, optimization, implementation, and testing. Dynamic prioritization algorithms in VBA adapt to real-time inventory changes and urgent production needs, improving monitoring and responsiveness. These VBA-driven improvements in resource allocation resulted in a 2.3% increase in output and nearly eliminated shortages. These findings provide valuable insights into effective inbound warehouse management and its impact on PT Yasulor Indonesia’s logistics and production, positioning the company for continued growth and competitive advantage
