Abstract

The increasingly massive global energy transition is driving the development of large-scale renewable energy projects, such as the Sofia Offshore Converter Platform project. However, conditions at sea have the potential to increase the risk of ship collision incidents with offshore platforms. This study aims to analyze the strength of the Jacket Platform structure in facing ship collision loads in accidental conditions. This analysis will be carried out on ship collisions with the jacket platform structure which aims to examine the strength of the related structure to withstand the loads that occur during ship collisions on the Jacket. The analysis was carried out using SACS 16.0 software through static plastic collapse. In this analysis, several variations were given, namely ship speed, ship arrival position and ship weight. At the time of the broadside collision, the maximum deflection of the ship was 9732.6 tons and 14899 tons at a speed of 0.77 m / s with a deflection value of 49.32 cm of 310 MPa, and in the bow / stern collision, a maximum stress of 9743 MPa occurred. In the Bow variation, maximum deflection occurs at speed variations of 0.55 m/s and 0.77 m/s which occurs in member 0B2 with a deflection of 15.5 cm. Furthermore, a local analysis was carried out on the crewboat to determine the dent value. The maximum plastic deformation was obtained at 4.5 cm and the maximum von mises stress was 476.3 MPa.
