Abstract
Perencanaan proses pemesinan merupakan langkah penting dalam merancang dan mengatur tahapan yang diperlukan untuk memproduksi sebuah komponen menggunakan mesin perkakas. CV Ultra Engineering, sebuah perusahaan yang memproduksi mesin pengemas makanan ringan, mempunyai banyak tahapan dalam proses produksinya. Salah satu permasalahan yang muncul adalah keterlambatan pada proses pemesinan part Crimjaw. Proses pemesinan tersebut membutuhkan waktu 85 jam 33 menit 2 detik, yang dinilai kurang efisien. Melalui penelitian ini, dilakukan perancangan ulang proses pemesinan dengan pendekatan teoritis berdasarkan parameter pemesinan yang relevan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa waktu proses dapat dioptimalkan menjadi 39 jam 21 menit 59 detik. Perancangan ini tidak hanya memberikan efisiensi waktu yang signifikan, tetapi juga menawarkan solusi yang lebih optimal dibandingkan kondisi existing. Dengan demikian, proses pemesinan part Crimjaw menjadi lebih terstruktur dan efektif, mendukung peningkatan produktivitas perusahaan.

Machining process planning is a crucial step in designing and organizing the necessary stages to manufacture a component using machine tools. CV Ultra Engineering, a company specializing in the production of snack packaging machines, faces numerous stages in its production processes. One of the challenges encountered is the delay in the machining process of the Crimjaw part. This machining process requires 85 hours, 33 minutes, and 2 seconds, which is deemed inefficient. Through this study, a redesign of the machining process was carried out using a theoretical approach based on relevant machining parameters. The results indicate that the process time can be optimized to 39 hours, 21 minutes, and 59 seconds. This redesign not only provides significant time efficiency but also offers a more optimal solution compared to the existing conditions. Consequently, the machining process of the Crimjaw part becomes more structured and effective, supporting increased productivity for the company.
