Abstract

Pembangunan Jalan Lingkar Utara Lamongan direncanakan dibangun pada tanah lunak. Dari hasil penyelidikan tanah diketahui kondisi tanah dasar memiliki konsistensi very soft to soft hingga kedalaman 18 meter.

The construction of the Lamongan North Ring Road is planned to be built on soft soil. From the results of the soil investigation, it is known that the subgrade condition has a very soft to soft consistency to a depth of 18 meters. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the subgrade soil as a road base in order to obtain good soil stability. The soil improvement planned by the National Road Implementation Agency of East Java - Bali Region is the use of preloading combined with PVD as deep as the compressible soil layer to accelerate the consolidation process.
At STA 0+400 to STA 0+426 there are cables from the High Voltage Air Line (SUTT) that cross the road with a height of 18 meters from the platform. So that the limited vertical free space becomes a challenge to carry out soil improvement according to the planned design. In this research, three alternatives are proposed to be analyzed to be applied at the SUTT location. The alternatives are preloading and PVD not as deep as compressible soil, reinforcement of pile matress bamboo and the use of box culvert. The final objective of this study is to see the most effective and efficient alternative to be proposed for the segment.
In terms of effectiveness, the results of the analysis show that the alternative soil improvement preloading with PVD 9 meters deep, preloading with PVD 6 meters deep, reinforcement of pile matress bamboo and the use of box culvert meet the requirements of settlement for highways. The factors of safety for each alternative are 1.408, 1.384, 1.446 and 1.341. In terms of efficiency, the combination of preloading with 6 meters of PVD is the most efficient alternative where the cost requirement is 15.90% lower than the soil improvement method according to the design plan.
