Abstract

Jembatan Kali Kandang dibangun di atas tanah lunak dengan daya dukung rendah. Metode perbaikan tanah yang digunakan adalah kombinasi dari Preloading, Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD), Prefabricated Horizontal Drain (PHD) yang memerlukan waktu cukup lama untuk mencapai derajat konsolidasi 90%. Selama proses konsolidasi, pekerjaan utama tidak dapat dilaksanakan sehingga progres pelaksanaan mendatar hingga proses konsolidasi selesai. Untuk meningkatkan efisiensi waktu, dapat dilakukan dengan memperpendek jarak PVD untuk mempercepat waktu konsolidasi dan melaksanakan pekerjaan timbunan bertahap (beserta konsolidasinya) bersamaan dengan pekerjaan pemancangan. Namun, timbunan di atas tanah lunak yang berada di sekitar tiang pondasi dapat memberikan gaya tambahan terhadap tiang sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis pengaruhnya terhadap tiang pondasi.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pentahapan timbunan dan derajat konsolidasi terhadap defleksi lateral, penurunan tiang dan gaya dalam yang terjadi pada tiang pondasi serta overall stability. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan Plaxis 3D dengan variasi jarak PVD, variasi pentahapan timbunan, serta variasi pemancangan pada derajat konsolidasi yang berbeda.
Dari hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa variasi jarak pemasangan PVD 0,75 m dan 0,5 m serta variasi pentahapan timbunan 0,75 m/hari; 1,00 m/hari dan 1,25 m/hari tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan baik dalam penurunan dan waktu konsolidasi maupun defleksi lateral pada tiang. Di sisi lain, pemancangan pada variasi derajat konsolidasi yang berbeda menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang cukup signifikan. Kondisi terkritis dimana tiang pondasi menerima beban tambahan paling besar adalah pada tiang pondasi yang dipancang pada derajat konsolidasi 10% yang mengalami penurunan tiang terbesar dan peningkatan gaya dalam seperti gaya aksial, gaya lateral dan gaya momen.

The Kali Kandang Bridge is built on soft soil with low bearing capacity. The soil improvement method used is a combination of Preloading, Prefabricated Vertical Drains (PVD), and Prefabricated Horizontal Drains (PHD), which requires a considerable amount of time to achieve 90% consolidation. During the consolidation process, main construction activities cannot proceed, resulting in stagnant progress until consolidation is complete. To improve time efficiency, the spacing of PVDs can be reduced to accelerate consolidation, and staged embankment work (along with its consolidation) can be carried out simultaneously with piling work. However, the embankment on soft soil around the foundation piles may exert additional forces on the piles, necessitating an analysis of its impact on the foundation piles.
This study aims to determine the effect of staged embankment construction and the degree of consolidation on lateral deflection, pile settlement, internal forces in foundation piles, and overall stability. The analysis is conducted using Plaxis 3D with variations in PVD spacing, embankment staging, and pile installation at different degrees of consolidation.
The analysis results show that variations in the installation spacing of PVDs at 0.75 m and 0.5 m, as well as variations in embankment staging at rates of 0.75 m/day, 1.00 m/day, and 1.25 m/day, do not have a significant effect on settlement, consolidation time, or lateral deflection of the pile. On the other hand, pile installation at different degrees of consolidation shows a more significant impact. The most critical condition, where the foundation pile receives the greatest additional load, occurs when the foundation pile is driven at a degree of consolidation of 10%, which experiences the largest pile settlement and increases in internal forces, such as axial force, lateral force, and moment force.
