Abstract

Dalam era yang menekankan pada keberlanjutan, pengembangan infrastruktur yang ramah lingkungan menjadi sebuah keharusan. Tugas akhir ini mengkaji aplikasi biomimikri dalam arsitektur dengan fokus tipologi Convention Hall yang berkelanjutan pada desain masterplan Pasar Induk Puspa Agro, Sidoarjo. Melalui pendekatan metafora dalam arsitektur dengan objek bunga, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana prinsip-prinsip alam dapat diintegrasikan dalam penciptaan bentuk dan ruang bangunan publik yang tidak hanya estetis tetapi juga fungsional dan ramah lingkungan.
Penggunaan metafora dalam arsitektur dengan objek bunga tidak hanya diharapkan memberikan solusi struktural yang efisien tetapi juga menciptakan interaksi visual dan sensoris bagi pengguna ruang. Aspek keberlanjutan akan diintegrasikan melalui penggunaan material ramah lingkungan dan strategi desain yang mengoptimalkan penggunaan sumber daya alam, seperti cahaya dan ventilasi alami. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan baru dalam desain arsitektur berkelanjutan dan menawarkan desain Convention Hall yang baru dalam pembangunan kawasan Pasar Induk Puspa Agro. Dengan menggabungkan estetika alami dan teknologi modern, proyek ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan sebuah landmark arsitektural kawasan yang tidak hanya menjadi pusat kegiatan masyarakat, namun juga simbol harmoni antara manusia dan lingkungan.

In an era that emphasizes sustainability, the development of environmentally friendly infrastructure becomes imperative. This research examines the application of biomimicry in architecture, focusing on the sustainable typology of a Convention Hall within the masterplan design of Pasar Induk Puspa Agro, Sidoarjo. Through the metaphorical approach in architecture using the object of flowers, this study aims to explore how natural principles can be integrated into the creation of forms and spaces in public buildings that are not only aesthetic but also functional and environmentally friendly.
The use of metaphors in architecture with the object of flowers is expected to provide efficient structural solutions and create visual and sensory interactions for the users of the space. The sustainability aspect will be integrated through the use of environmentally friendly materials and design strategies that optimize the use of natural resources, such as light and natural ventilation. This research is expected to provide new insights into sustainable architectural design and offer a new design for the Convention Hall in the development of the Pasar Induk Puspa Agro area. By combining natural aesthetics and modern technology, this project aims to create an architectural landmark of the area that not only serves as a community activity center but also a symbol of harmony between humans and the environment.
